Ready to take a nomadic adventure? The Nomad is a great vehicle to take on your next adventure.
This van was originally designed to drive around the mountainous terrains of Chile. Luckily, it never made it to Chile and now can take care of adventurers out here in beautiful Utah and the surrounding areas. Built on a 2017 loaded Sprinter 12 passenger 4X4 platform, this van is very rugged but still has some of the luxuries you’d expect in a Sprinter such as bumper sensors, a rear camera and a diesel engine that can get up to 20 MPG. It can even be setup in 2 different modes depending on what you want to do. Both modes include the exterior awning, power steps, 2 2” square receivers that are great for bikes or towing your toys (one in the front and one in the rear), and an extra box you can close and seal on the rear.
The first mode is setup for a comfortable camping trip. We setup this mode by removing all of the seats but 5 and put in one of our QUQUQ camping boxes. This box fits perfectly in the Sprinter and gives a full-sized fold out bed. Accessible out of the rear doors, the box has a dual butane cook-top, a Yeti Roadster 20 cooler, a couple of 2 gallon water bottles and storage room for your food and drinks. Need more sleeping than 2 inside the van and really didn’t want to make the other passengers camp outside? Smaller children could sleep under the main bed or you can have them sleep on the bench seat or in one of the front seats that can tilt all the way back. We also provide window covers that cover every window inside. And if you’re worried about it getting too warm or too cold on the inside, the Nomad has an overhead fan in the rear of the vehicle and a diesel heater that can be run without running the engine.
The second mode is the passenger mode. It has 12 comfortable seats in the vehicle with lots of USB ports around the van to keep all those electronic devices charged. In the cargo area, it comes with a shelf and a cargo net that allows you to stack equipment or bags all the way to the roof. This mode is great if you are carrying lots of adventurers out for biking or hiking. Because of its 4 wheel drive, you can even use the Nomad to get out and ski on those snowy hills and you have plenty of room for your ski equipment as well.
Would rather do some tailgating? The Nomad can handle that when we put in the camper box and leave all those seats so you can cook up your favorite food and keep all those drinks cold in the yeti cooler.
Love this Nomad but don’t like the color, then check out it’s sister the Nomad Blue-Grey. Be sure to check out our other vans too, like the Sundance Kid, Atlas or The Adventurer.
Exterior of the van and the cargo net and shelf were designed and built locally by Utah Vanbuilders.
