The owner was great to work with and quick to answer any and all questions ahead of our trip. He did a great job of explaining how everything worked and where to find things when we picked it up, so we felt comfortable taking the RV out to Yellowstone. The problems were with the RV itself. It very badly needed a tune-up; every time we tried to use the generator for power, A/C, or to move the slide-out, exhaust would back into the camper and force us to evacuate until it could air out. The first night, we almost stayed in a hotel because we couldn't stand the gas smell. This lead to the other issue we had; there were no screens in the vents above the beds and the screen door on the camper was also broken, so we got very little ventilation. There are just too many flies and mosquitoes in the campgrounds to go screenless - especially at night. And without A/C, this made for uncomfortable heat inside, since the windows are so tiny and bring in very little fresh air. Other amenities that didn't work: the outdoor shower (cracked hose) and oven. We were able to use the stove and thankfully the fridge and freezer ran really well on propane. We had no phone service where we were in yellowstone, so we spent most of the time stressed about what else might break on the RV and drove it as little as possible. If it hadn't been for those problems, the RV was a good size for our family and had just about everything we needed. We did end up with a cracked windshield, which might just be a risk of driving in that rocky terrain. We didn't notice when or how it happened, but that was also handled quickly and fairly by the owner. We knew we would have to file a claim and pay out of our deposit on that, so there were no surprises.

Nice RV that fit 3 adults. The kitchen stove and microwave was a life saver for late night meals. Also having hot water for a shower while camping felt great.

**RENTER BEWARE**
The owner claims that we messed up his RV. We went from his place to the campground which was a straight, paved drive only several miles away. We never hit anything and backed straight into our paved camp sight on the first attempt. This is where we left the RV, it was never moved. He supposedly sent a picture of the damage but we never received it. We are extremely honest people. If we did anything wrong, we would be the first to admit it. In fact, I used one of his dish clothes and it got stained so I gave him $10.00 to replace it when it was probably worth .50 cents! My husband spoke to him and told him this, however, he still filed a claim. This is extremely worrisome that someone can claim you did something when you know you didn't and he can't prove anything! We plan on fighting the claim. If I were a future renter, I'd certainly look elsewhere and rent from someone else. There is a major character issue here. I would hate for this to happen to someone else. I'd rather sleep out in the wild than rent from this person again!!!
