After careful consideration here goes. Jeremy seems like a personable guy but he knows nothing about the RVs he is renting. First he wanted us to just pick up the RV without meeting us or going through a walk through because he was "off grid" . He knew we were RV novices but told us to watch a you tube video to figure out how to work things. Finally he said his wife could meet us to walk through and take before pics but she knew nothing and also managed to derail the shower door, which we later fixed. We knew the rig was older and did not expect sparkling new, but there is no excuse for cabinet doors hanging off their hinges. These were mentioned by other renters in prior reviews but still not corrected. Its a good thing we rented a day early for our trip because that gave my husband time to fix these things (your welcome) so our trip would be more comforable.
The shower was another experience. The door would not stay closed and the valve shot the water out the side into the walkway flooding the floor. The floor got real clean. (your welcome) All of this should have been repaired before it was ever rented out. It was obvious that it had been like this for awhile. We made it to our wonderful campsite at Silver wood Lake SRA and started setting up our camp only to realize that the vehicle registration had expired. We never thought to check, but won't make that same mistake again. This was the icing on the cake. Not only did we have to fix Jeremy's broken RV but now it was not even legal to drive. We sent a text with a picture to his wife and never received a response. With Jeremy "off grid" there was no one to help us. We finally contacted Outdoorsy and they were helpful and documented everything. If we had gotten pulled over on the way home and ticketed they would have intervened with the owner. Fortunately we made it home tired and ticket free. We did enjoy experiencing RV life but with all the trouble and concerns we never really relaxed. When we turned the rig back in Jeremy was eager to meet us. He did listen to our complaints and some advice on how to fix things but the real question is whether he will follow through. We hope so

I’ve rented about 8-10 rv’s over the past 20 years. This was the worst of the bunch. We never met In person. Pick up and drop off was done over the phone. I had to do the walk through myself. The vehicle was filthy inside and out. He acted surprised and wanted pictures so he could charge the previous renter a cleaning fee. He should have paid me the cleaning fee. My wife and I cleaned the inside for over 2 hours before we would let our grandkids inside. Several cabinets were hanging on 1 hinge. Dog hair everywhere. Etc… I could go on. It was like renting from a slum lord

The owner was very helpful and nice to talk to. The RV was what we expected for the price, definitely needs some TLC (a drawer was missing and couple of cabinet doors were coming off, beds were worn out). When we received it , it wasn’t cleaned by the previous renter or the owner. We also got it an hour late. The owner made up for it by letting us return it late and not charging us the cleaning fee .

Good: price, quick with communications, & generally pleasantThe rental started out on a sour note. I had asked for a morning pickup time because of our schedule. Jeremy said noon would work. As we were leaving for the airport, I received a call from Jeremy saying there was a late return on another (identical) RV and asking if I could pick ours up in the evening. This did not work for us. We settled on 3 pm because he said he had to honor what was in the listing. This was after Jeremy mentioned the possibility of having to cancel our 10 day reservation at the last minute in lieu of a one day reservation made earlier on the other RV. This was upsetting and didn’t make any sense since it was for a different RV.The black water tank was showing close to full. He noted that the previous renters must not have emptied the tank. We confirmed when we hooked up that the tank was indeed almost full. What this meant was we had to empty the tank of someone else’s waste. It’s gross enough if it’s your own! We were also asked to check the oil and tire pressure. Fuel was also lower than he was expecting (a little over half a tank). He asked that we fill it up and send him a picture of the gas receipt asap.We noted that the awning was not in working condition. This is an older RV and the price was right. We did not expect newness, but did expect things to be in working order, or otherwise noted before rental. On the road, we also noticed that one headlight was burnt out. We also found out that several windows are missing screens and one back window did not open at all. This became a problem when the AC quit working one night at 2 a.m.We called Outdoorsy tech support on the AC and after some troubleshooting they said they would send a mobile mechanic paid for by the insurance policy in the morning. When tech support called in the morning, after some limited additional troubleshooting, they said since it didn’t stop the RV from being driven they would only send a mechanic at our or the owner’s expense. The temps that day were supposed to be 100+. We called Jeremy and he told us where to look in general for the fuse box. We finally sorted it out ourselves by looking online.We have some experience with RVs, though feel it would be very helpful to future renters to have a FAQ sheet that describes things like what the propane services as the owner seemed a bit confused on this (fridge/hot water), how long you might expect to go before refilling, making sure fridge is set to automatic so it uses propane/electric depending on the hookup etc. Questions to the owner on how the propane worked with electric hooked up resulted in an answer of “I’m not sure as I only dry camp."

On positive side, Jeremy was flexible and responds quickly to requests! He also offered to take the RV back anytime before evening without any extra charge.On not so brightside, we had following issues with RV:
a) Right-side mirror, the smsller one that sits at the bottom of the mirror. This was a huge safety risk. Jeremy told about this just a night before.
b) The toilet seat was having installation problem. The seat was loose. Won't flush easily. And sometimes the smell will come in the RV when you start driving
c) The indicators were not showing empty for grey and dirty water so had to stop on a dumping station that wasted 1 hour.
d) RV had back camera but it never worked so every time we had to back the RV, I had to send my co-passenger out to check there is nobody/vehicle in the back

All of these issues have now been addressed and repaired. This is why i made sure you were aware of all the issues before you agreed to take it with the damages so i wouldn't get a bad reviewed. When you returned, it Sounded like you had a blast. I didn't realize you were unhappy as I discussed all these damages that my motorhome received from the previous renter and that I was willing to cancel the trip as I was waiting for the insurance claim to go through. I figured out the back up camera. I know that doesn't help you now. And having the mirror and toilet fixed now doesn't either. I hope in the future you will still consider my Rv as all the repairs have been made. And if you could be so kind as to leave a bit better rating it won't hurt my business nearly as bad and I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

This was our first RV experience and it was amazing! Jeremy was very accommodating to our requests. The RV was cleangood condition. His rental price definitely beats surrounding renters as well. Definitely recommend!

Jeremy was always available and super helpful. We blew a fuse at 9PM and he was immediately on the phone and talked me through the process to get the lights back on. He was also flexible with the pickup and drop-off schedule which made the pickup and drop-off a lot easier. I would highly recommend renting from Jeremy!
