Even better than we expected! We had a wonderful time. No regrets. The van was perfect. Very fuel efficient and set up well. Bed is comfortable too. Maria has been great to work with.

Wow- This van was an absolute dream. We rented Runaway for a week & went to
Outer Banks. Maria was so sweet & kind, & most of all genuinely excited &
interested in our plans. She offered us tips & ideas for places to explore.
She was wonderful to work with. The van was easy to drive with all of the
safety features like blind spot warning lights, lane assist, & back up
camera. It was comfortable & cozy in all the right ways. It was equipped
with everything we needed & even some added touches like an extra fan & the
magnetic bug screen which allowed us to enjoy the ocean breeze & sounds at
night. We enjoyed sunsets & sunrises on the rooftop patio- my favorite
feature. What an amazing experience. We would recommend Runaway and renting
from Maria to anyone!

Absolutely loved our time in the Runaway! We took her to the Outer Banks for a perfect long weekend. She was easy to drive and the bed was super comfortable! Maria was a pleasure to work with! Easy communication and she even let us move our dates at the last moment due to a storm on the coast. Now our pup is begging us to buy our own van!

Renting this van was the best thing I have ever done since getting to the US! I loved driving this van and I am from the UK, so initially driving was a worry, but 'she' was so comfortable to drive and the safety features took all that worry away especially the blind spot warning lights. It has everything you need - all the basics plus some added extras. Maria is the nicest person and has made the van feel so cosy! She made sure I was comfortable with all the controls before I left and threw in alot of useful extras so I hardly needed anything. There is a battery under the front seat which is easily charged when driving and supplies lights and power to charge your phone etc at night. The bed was comfortable and easy to set up in the evening. I took it on a round trip from Wilmington NC up to VA and MD and then down the skyline drive and blueridge parkway and back to Wilmington. It was the best way to see as much as I could and I felt very safe on my own. Due to cold weather and no heating I would maybe recommend this van for warmer nights unless you plan taking one, but it was still a pleasant experience and I was aware of this before I rented. I would recommend this van to anyone wanting try out van life for the first time. It has certainly made me want to do it again soon! I am already missing life on the road so much and I can't thank Maria enough for being so helpful throughout the whole experience. I now have Runway to thank for some of my most treasured memories!! 10/10

Hard to imagine how our trip could have been better. The wood-paneled interior created a cozy cabin experience, so we enjoyed just being inside it at our campsite. The powerful diesel engine performed well on mountain roads or through urban traffic. But be careful, the drive is basically that of a light truck or small bus, not a minivan. We climbed up top and watched the sunset from the roof--so well designed. It was definitely on my wife's bucket list. Don't forget to put diesel fuel in the tank, and we found the actual stove provided was not the propane two burner shown in the photo. But I was able to get a refund for the bottles I purchased and didn't need. This arrangement overall is put together with taste and sensitivity with few drawbacks, by someone who likes to make people happy. If you have no problem with the driving, you otherwise can't go wrong with this.
