This was our first experience using a camper van and we will 100% be doing it again! Luke had every basic camping need provided for us so we didn’t need to bring anything from our typical camping packs. It was so easy to park and camp and move on to the next adventure in the morning. And have no set up in the rain was the real mpv! All instructions were easy and Luke was extremely communicative and helpful. We are so thankful we found this!

This van was everything we needed and more! Luke was very helpful and enthusiastic, and he’s thought of everything you could need while camping - even down to the cereal bar and sauces for cooking. It was the perfect way to explore Acadia without needing to bring all the camping gear ourselves - super convenient and cozy! Bed was really comfy after a long day of hiking, and it was extra nice to have custom bug nets for the doors so we could have some fresh air at night. Truly 10/10 would recommend - and we’re gonna be back!! We love Maine Van Life!!

If you are thinking about renting this van, DO IT! I was so excited and nervous about living the Maine Van Life since I am not a camper, but the van is so easy to use and so well equipped that even a total newbie can have the camping experience. We traveled with our two boys and camping in Acadia was definitely the most memorable part of our trip to Maine!

This camper van was perfect for our trip. We flew quite a distance to camp in Acadia National Park, and renting this van made our trip so much easier. We were able to focus our time and energy on activities in the park, rather than on packing and schlepping gear.

Q.How many people can MVL2 accomodate?
A.
4 adults can sleep comfortably in MVL2. Two on the queen bed in the van, and two on the full bed on in the penthouse (rooftop tent). A family of 5 may find this comfortable, with some smaller kids.

Q.How hard is the rooftop tent to operate?
A.
Not hard at all. I have a telescoping ladder included. Once you have the tent unfastened, grab the ladder and it unfolds. Click the ladder to the correct height and you're ready for comfortable sleeping. Already folded in the tent are two L.L.Bean sleeping bags and two pillows.
