Eastern Wisconsin has plenty more to see, which makes an RV rental a great way to explore. When you book an RV in Waupaca County, you can head over to wonderful scenic areas like Appleton or Oshkosh by Lake Winnebago. You could even check out Green Bay if you’re a fan of the gridiron or all the other things the city has to offer. Then you can return to the RV park and enjoy all the offerings you can find at the Bear Lake Campground restaurant. The Great Outdoors

Bear Lake is gorgeous, though there’s so much more to check out while you are renting an RV in the area. Heading over to Mukwa State Wildlife Area and the Wolf River State Fishery Area next to it are great places to start. Next to the city of New London, this diverse wetland habitat has plenty to see. Mukwa is a woodland area that provides plenty of recreational opportunities like birding, hiking, fishing, hunting, and wildlife viewing. Wolf River will give you access to rare catches like northern pike, panfish, and walleye.

You will probably also want to check out Hartman Creek State Park in Waupaca for some fun under the sun. There you can enjoy around 1,500 acres of amazing woodlands with creeks and trails for multiple ways to explore the bounties of nature. If you want more space to explore, you can make your way over to Navarino State Wildlife Area east of Clintonville. Home to multiple habitats, here you can see marshy depressions, lowland scrub, sandy uplands, and aspen and oak forests, just to name a few. The nature center makes for an excellent place to learn about the area, while features like snowmobile trails in the winter and canoeing in the spring are only a couple of the reasons why you might want to visit this 15,000-acre area.

Explore the City

Relaxing is easy while you are motorhome camping at Bear Lake Campground. After your adventures in nature, you can spend some time touring some of the city sights around the area.
