The Great Outdoors

RV camping at Lynn Ann’s Campground makes it easy to go fishing and boating. With lake access from the campground dock, you can go out on a motorized boat or enjoy the calm water with kayaking or canoeing. You can also go fishing in the lake. The campground rents fishing gear, and you can fish from the shore or from a boat. Some common fish species found in this lake include northern pike, walleye, muskie, and panfish. You may also find trout or bass in the water, but they are less common. This lake is considered one of the best in the country for muskellunge fishing, and muskie tournaments are held there. There are many other lakes in this area, including Little Saint Germain Lake, Lake Content, Pickerel Lake, and Moon Lake. Little Saint Germain Lake and Pickerel Lake have boat launches, while the other lakes in the area offer shore fishing. You’ll find the same species of fish in all of the lakes in the area. Be sure to check local fishing regulations and conditions before you go.There are also lots of hiking trails nearby when you go motorhome camping near Eagle River. The Awassa Trail is one of the closest, with the trailhead starting just outside of the campground in Saint Germain. The Fern Ridge Hiking Trail and the Shannon Lake Hiking Trail are also located close by, with trailheads just a short drive north of the town. Near Woodruff, the Bittersweet Lakes Natural Area is another good option for hiking, although it does not have designated trails. The natural area is also open for cross-country skiing in the winter. Hunting is allowed in many parts of the natural area as well, but it’s important to check hunting regulations before you go.

Questions about RVs?

Q.

What type of RV should I choose?

A.

Start by determining how many people are planning to travel with you. Going on a solo-journey? Choose a camper van or a teardrop trailer. Bringing the whole family along for the ride? Consider a spacious Class A or five-wheel.

You’ll also want to consider amenities. For example, if you’re planning to cook on the road, you’ll want a kitchenette. If your campground doesn’t have public restrooms, you’ll want to search RVs with bathrooms. Check out full descriptions of our models to help you decide here.

Q.

Do the RVs have bathrooms?

A.

Yes. Class A’s, Class B’s, and Class C’s and five-Wheels typically have bathrooms. Depending on where you plan on camping, you’ll want to double-check the availability of restrooms if selecting a rig without a bathroom. Nervous about renting an RV with a bathroom? Owners can help show you how to clean the tank or will offer to do it for you for a fee.

Q.

How does check-in work?

A.

Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
