Bring the comforts of home with you as you explore nature around you. This safe mode of traveling can relieve concerns of travel during Covid, and put a big smile on your face! Our Airstream is minimalist with safety in mind, but of course with some luxuries included to make your glamping experience one to remember!

What's included

I will sanitize the rig before your rental with our new UV light!

Do you want to getaway and have to only pack your clothes and food? Do you want to getaway longer and bring more of the comforts of home with you? I do my best to offer several amenities and luxuries that can be enjoyed for a simple getaway, or you have the rig nearly empty when you pick it up.

You’re welcome to use our newly upgraded ZipDee awning (over the door and over the opposite windows), patio mat, electric tea kettle, keurig, kitchen and bathroom hand towels, washcloths and 4 bath body towels, 2 non-stick skillets (small and large- no lid), bamboo cooking utensils, spatula, 2 sharp ceramic food prep knives, 5 various sized (small) cutting boards, napkins, plastic plates, plastic bowls, plastic cups, can opener, bottle opener, mini fridge with freezer, salt and pepper shakers (no other spices), indoor shower with travel-size body wash, shampoo and conditioner, hand soaps at both sinks, dawn dish soap in kitchen, an outside shower with hose, indoor flat screen TV with DVD player (with potential satellite cable depending on campground, we also have a coax cable), a flashlights and 2 lanterns, blue tooth stereo/built-in speakers, air conditioning, furnace, 2 built-in exhaust ceiling fans (great for creating a refreshing breeze or nighttime white noise!) and a handmade wooden charcutterie board/serving tray created by local wood workers at Repurposed Midwest.

Recommendations

Immerse yourself in nature to embrace the 3 R's... Relaxation, Reflection and Recreation!! Disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday and the long year of the pandemic. Take a hike through the woods, play at the campground playgrounds, splash at the beach! You can lock up the rig and drive into town to explore and support small businesses. Find that delicious local coffee shop or browse a quaint book shop. Pack some snacks and seek out the vistas and lookout points nearby.

Some recommendations I have...

My family and I live on the edge of 70,000 acres of forest preserve and some of the best mountain bike trails in the state! So we love to stay at Camp Bullfrog Lake and immerse ourselves in the woods and be near tons of multi-use two-way trails. I’d suggest heading to this campground if you have a short weekend to getaway or if you don’t have a tow vehicle and want us to deliver the Airstream and do all the hard work so you can just enjoy nature for a bit!!

We've also really enjoyed exploring the Silver Lake Sand Dunes State Park in Michigan. We’ve enjoyed a great campground just outside the state park that has a playground, outdoor pool, and private beach!

Another great place is the Brown County State Park Campground in Nashville, Indiana. Amazing views of the rolling hills, great hiking and biking trails, nice campgrounds, and a neat small town with boutiques, delicious food and fun for the kids!

Overall, regardless of where your adventure is, may I encourage you make some time to just slow down and enjoy some fresh coffee, cold water or iced tea while listening to nature’s symphony around you. The birds chirping, the breeze rustling the leaves overhead, the laughter from down the road... it’s great for “recharging”. Our upgraded ZipDee awning makes for a great "front porch" and we have string of lights that you can hang to add to the great ambiance!

Other things to note

Awnings must be dismantled when rig is unattended, bad weather, and overnight. Gusts of wind and storms can roll in quickly while you’re away exploring. The awning is lightweight and we don't want it breaking.

No unattended dogs.

No smoking inside the rig.
No smoking under the awning.

Panoramic views from main bed (a curved Queen size) and a dinette that folds into second bed (roughly a Full size).

You’re responsible for any damages, please report them so we can fix them quickly. Some are cost-free and we don’t need to charge, others will be charged from your security deposit. I will be fair, not greedy.

Return my rig how you picked it up- clean.
If you return my rig dirty- you will forfeit some or all of your security deposit to go towards cleaning fees. Please bring Airstream back tidied, dishes done, and overall clean, I will clean again and sanitize before next rental.

Bring your own pillows and blankets. Due to COVID-19, we do not provide sleeping pillows or throw pillows. We can provide bed sheets, pillow cases as well as kitchen and bath hand towels and wash rags.

If you're sick, please let me know. Don't spread COVID and put my young family, myself and subsequent renters at risk.

Please note: Most campgrounds require face masks while inside buildings such bath houses but not while outside at campsite.

I love to share my minimalist and earthy Airstream home with others. When my family isn't able to use our rig, I love to facilitate opportunities for other families and people to connect with nature. Camping is such a great way to create lasting memories with loved ones. By renting a new, sanitized Airstream, you can enjoy some luxury and comforts of home alongside the wilderness. I will always promote relaxation, recreation and reflection during the trips I help orchestrate. Read Ryder's profile and reach out if you have questions afterwards!

We really enjoyed the Airstream! Martha was easy to work with and accessible if we had any questions. We were especially impressed with how well stocked the camper was. We didn’t need much more than our camp chairs. The Airstream was easy to tow and easy to set up. Great trip!

As first timers, I cannot express how thankful we were to have found not only this Airstream but also the owners who shared it with us.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the owner

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
I do my best to accommodate my renters for a convenient pick up and drop off, within reason. I work from home and am usually able to be somewhat flexible. My renters and I decide ahead of time on a good time frame that works for everyone.

Q.What is the weight of this Airstream?
A.
Dry weight is 3,775lbs, however, good rule of thumb is to add 1,000lbs once it's packed with gear, water, etc. So roughly 5,000lbs gross weight.
