Blairsville is a small mountain town located exactly two hours North of Atlanta. This community is a comfortable combination of small quiet town with a hint of small tourist attractions such as local shops, antique shops, and the occasional zipline tour through mountainous areas.

Located in Union County, Blairsville has a small population of less than 700. Dahlonega, a neighboring city, is known for the first sighting of Gold in the United States, although Blairsville was found to have the purest gold. Gold from Blairsville was easily distinguished from other sites as it was “the yellowist gold.”

Depending on the season you plan to visit, you can expect a mild winter, and a very humid summer. Blairsville usually only receives snow several times each winter and has an above average amount of rain in the summer months when compared to other Southern states.
