The sun-soaked town of Bonifay is situated in upstate Florida, directly north of Panama City and south of Dothan. This town is relatively new, as it was only established in the late 1800s as a result of the railway which ran through the town. The railway was so significant in the town's development that they named the town Bonifay after Judge Frank Bonifay, who was an official for the railway.
