The habitats are considered quite natural and they have expanded through the years. While in Oakland, you can take the ferry to nearby historic Angel Island for panoramic San Francisco city views. In the hills east of Oakland, you can marvel at the majestic coastal redwoods as you explore Redwood Regional Park.

When you rent a motorhome in Castro Valley it puts you so close to San Francisco, it would be a shame not to explore this city as well. There’s Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf and, of course, the Golden Gate Bridge. Take a fun ride on a streetcar or even visit the Aquarium. This area and its surroundings are so jam-packed with things to do that your only problem is going to be running out of time.
