Rolater Park is located in the center of town. This 29-acre parcel of land is home to the natural limestone cave where the Little Cedar Creek flows from and was gifted to the town by Dr. Joseph B. Rolater. The creek flows throughout the town and into Rolater Lake where guests are able to swim and cool off from the Georgia heat.

Within the park, there are covered pavilions and picnic tables for rent, a playground, and options for the whole family to feed the fish and ducks. Wheelbarrow and dollies are located by a section of the creek for locals and guests to use to lug large jugs to fill up for a natural water supply—see we told you it was clean!

Cave Spring is a small town after all, so venturing out to nearby locations with your Cave Spring luxury motorhome is noteworthy.

Rome is a quick 15-minute drive and has a nice selection of walking and hiking trails to get the heart rate up all while taking in the scenery. Rome sits in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and right by the Coosa River, Etowah River, and Oostanaula River. Take in the riverfront views by trekking over 13.5 miles of trails all along the river’s edge. There are trail entrances all throughout the city making it very easy to find a trailhead.

Each RV site comes with full hookups for your RV, WiFi, cable, and picnic tables, but there are no restroom facilities. With plenty of events planned onsite, Chestnut Bay allows you to enjoy your vacation without having to have every day planned out. There’s an amphitheater, several water slides that take you into the lake or the pool, kayak rentals, volleyball courts, and playgrounds. Chestnut Bay really has fun covered.

Also nearby in Alabama, park your Cave Springs travel trailer rental in Borden Springs at Chief Ladiga Trail Campground. The campground offers a lodge, a store, and a bathhouse for convenience, please note each RV site only offers 50 amps. This is a great option for someone who wants direct access to daily hiking, while still being close driving proximity to local towns and attractions for day trips. Enjoy the Chief Ladiga Trail, the Pinhoti Hiking Trail, and the Terrapin Creek while being totally immersed in the Talladega National Forest.

Exploring the City

The main attractions in Cave Spring are both within Rolater Park. The quaint town just received their first stoplight to help with the traffic of their downtown. With a handful of shops and eateries, you will definitely find something for folks of all ages to enjoy.

Cave Spring is also the location of the famed Georgia School for the Deaf. The school offers comprehensive education and services to deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. Who would have thought such an important school was tucked away in Cave Spring?

Another neighboring town that sparks joy in the hearts of locals is Cedartown. Grab a nice dinner on the town then catch a movie at the West Cinema Theater.
