Nestled directly south of Fort Worth, on the way to Cleburne along Highway 174 sits Joshua. It’s a small town that first was settled in the mid-1800s. The town of Joshua was built around a train station that was established along the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway line when it came into the area, running from Cleburne to Fort Worth. The community of Joshua was first organized in 1881, and its first store was opened in 1882. Anyone who’s looking for RV rentals in Joshua is sure to find something that fits their needs, and they will be close to the major metropolitan area of Dallas/Fort Worth.

There are plenty of lakes and other bodies of water around the area to explore and some amazing destinations. While large forests and national parks aren’t anywhere close by, when you choose the best RV rental in Joshua, you can head down toward the U.S.-Mexico border and visit Big Bend National Park. If you’d rather stick a bit closer, it’s still a bit of a drive, but you can check out Davy Crockett National Forest near Lufkin and even Sabine National Forest near San Augustine, right along the border with Louisiana.
