Justin, Texas is a town located in Denton County, and it is also considered to be a suburb of Fort Worth. The town dates back to the middle of the 19th century, soon after Texas separated from Mexico. The first European settlers were followers of a French Utopian who wanted to create an idyllic commune. The attempt was unsuccessful. The next settlers named the town Justin in honor of an engineer on the railroad. Many people believe the town is named for the western wear company; though, western wear was a major industry in Justin, that’s not the case.

The city is located about twenty minutes from Denton, about thirty minutes from Fort Worth, and about an hour from Dallas. Adventurous travelers who book an RV in Justin are able to get to the Oklahoma border in about an hour and the Louisiana border in under three hours.

Justin has a humid, subtropical climate. That means summers are humid and hot; winters are mild to cool. The terrain is largely flat, which makes for pretty easy RV driving. There are no bodies of water in Justin, but there are two significant lakes in Denton County awaiting you.
