Murray is a home city in the state of Kentucky located on US Highway 641 in Calloway County. Murray is the 19th largest city in Kentucky, and just a few miles away from the Kentucky-Tennessee state line. The city has been known by a few different names before being named Murray after John Murray, a representative from Kentucky. Murray witnessed upheavals during the Civil War with many buildings being burnt down on several occasions. Today, the city honors its veterans with a Confederate Monument.

A 44-mile drive will bring you to the Duck Creek RV Resort in Paducah. With over 90 sites, the resort offers full hookups, big rig sites, back-ins, trash pick-up, WiFi, RV supplies and storage, firewood, laundry, ice, restrooms and showers, metered LP gas and fishing supplies. With the Bee Branch Creek close by, fishing is a possibility too.
