Paradise Valley, Arizona is a stunning town that is a short drive from Phoenix and Scottsdale and nestled near Camelback Mountain and the Phoenix Mountain Preserve. If you are seeking an RV park near Paradise Valley that provides all the bells and whistles consider the Desert Shadows RV Resort off I-17 in Phoenix. This resort is only 30 minutes from Paradise Valley and features clean restrooms and showers, a huge laundry facility, pool, clubhouse, free coffee and tea, bocce ball courts and more! They also have a full-time activities director who coordinates events.

Should you need a quick overnight stay, consider Walmart, truck stops, and larger grocery stores. There are several Walmarts located within 15 miles of town and camping may be allowed at these locations. Just check with the manager to get permission before you settle in for the night. There are also truck stops that provide showers within 30 miles of Paradise Valley. Being located near Phoenix and Chandler, RV rental near Paradise Valley is common, therefore, you should be able to find great amenities.

Exploring the City

If you are an avid art lover, be sure to visit Cosanti, a bizarre architectural compound that is tucked away in an upscale Paradise Valley neighborhood. The 5-acre compound is the brainchild of artist Paolo Soleri who settled in Paradise Valley in 1955 and was later joined by his students who began working on the experimental buildings that make up the compound. Designated as an Arizona Historic Site, Cosanti presents a unique bio-climatic architectural environment. Its structures feature many imaginative design elements, reflecting Soleri’s innovative construction techniques. There is a studio on site that makes windchimes and sculptures which are available for purchase. Guided tours are also available.
