The RV you are about to rent has been to Canada and Mexico and all the Western states many times. Our favorite places to dry camp is on Bureau of Land Management land in the high desert of Southern California. Our favorite long trip is through Death Valley, the darkest place in the United States. So many stars. We first started camping in tents before we had kids. Then we bought a travel trailer that had sides that folded down for three bedrooms. It was a big step up from camping in tents! When this RV came on the market we bought it primarily so that we would be encouraged to take a trip on a moment's notice. And it worked! Now, it's always ready to go even if we just want to take 8 people to dinner in Los Angeles.
