The Marshfield Fairgrounds, a park spread out over 62 acres, serves as the venue for the event. It is ideally located to cater to both Boston and South Shore residents and travelers.
The event started as a tenth-anniversary party thrown by Levitate, a surf and skate apparel line and shop, based out of Marshfield. The first ever Levitate Festival took place in 2013 and was a resounding success.
