Northwood Meadows State Park spans 674.5 acres in a wilderness setting. This wooded park has a vast wetlands area and is excellent for nature walks and picnicking. The park includes a pond created by a dammed brook - a popular place for fishing and non-motorized boating. The easily accessible trails also make the park an ideal place for biking, hiking, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing.
Northwood Meadows State Park is unstaffed but is open year-round to the public at no charge. Access to the park is walk-in only. There is ample parking outside of the gate.
Situated on 46 beautiful wooded acres in the gorgeous Lakes Region of New Hampshire, the Strafford/Lake Winnipesaukee KOA is a great place to visit. Enjoy a relaxing day at the camp or use the campground as a basecamp for local day trips to the ocean shore or the White Mountains. At the campground, enjoy on-site fishing, a puppy playground for your pooch or the seasonal swimming pool complete with a spray park and water slide.
