The Festival is a must-attend event, with two stages, 25 shows, and over 20 acres of a park-like setting with breathtaking views of the Cascade Mountains.

Not only does the event boast an action-packed schedule, food booths, vendors, entertainment, and beer and wine gardens, but ample accommodation for all. RV and tent camping is encouraged and recommended, with no better way to end each night than under the stars in Sweet Home, Oregon.

There are also several campsites set out over the 20-plus acres, with shuttles to and from each site at regular intervals. What's more, there are ample amenities to ensure your weekend's stay is as comfortable as possible.

The balmy fall weather averages 84 degrees-Fahrenheit, dropping to around 50 overnight. You'll want to pack warm, but dancing the night away to the music is sure to get the blood pumping anyway. The Oregon Jamboree Music Festival is the Northwest's premier music and camping festival, and it's not one to miss!

Tickets

Tickets for the Oregon Jamboree Music Festival come up for sale months in advance, giving you plenty of time to organize your RV for action. Festival passes are not inclusive of your camping costs. What to pack

Clothing

Oregon weather conditions tend to vary in August, with heat during the day and cool temperatures at night. Bring warm clothing for the evenings, but cover for the sunshine during the day. Comfortable footwear that won't cause blisters is also a recommendation. Prepare for all eventualities to remain as comfortable as possible during the weekend.

Gear

If you stay at one of the many RV campsites, you may bring cooking equipment and your favorite summer camping supplies. No outside food or beverage items will be allowed in the concert areas. However, there will be food and beverage items on site. All purchases can be made with festival scrip tickets, which you can buy at several event locations. Oregon Jamboree allows chairs, but they must fit the festival’s regulations. Some upper-level ticket types may also include seating.

Health & Safety

Remember to bring sunscreen and other protection from the elements such as sunglasses and sun hats. Smoking in designated areas only has been allowed in the past. EMT stations on the festival grounds are marked for easy identification. Water will be available for purchase. Illegal drugs and outside alcohol are not permitted.

Where to eat

Cooking

Propane cooking equipment (E.g., stove, fire pit, grill, and barbeque) is allowed in the campsites if it has a shut-off valve, but open flames, campfires, and charcoal grills, for safety reasons, are not. Grocery options are available within a twenty-minute walk and may best be navigated via the side roads through Sweet Home. It may be best to bring any specific grocery items with you since options may become limited due to the number of festival attendees. Respect is requested for other campers with generator use.

Restaurants

The festival site boasts many different eating options, including a beer and wine garden and several onsite booths. The township of Sweet Home is also home to many family-friendly eateries and establishments within proximity to the festival–many of which offer homestyle cooking, takeaways, and hearty dinners. If a meal out is of interest, camping guests may want to consider eating establishments near the event site to avoid moving vehicles.

Vendors

Oregon Jamboree Music Festival has no shortage of prepared food and beverage options. Guests will find a beer and wine garden, onsite booths, and cashless, scrip methods for purchasing. You can exchange cash for scrips at several locations. There are also vendors selling merchandise if you want to remember the experience forever!

Safety

Security

It is the responsibility of the individual to keep possessions locked-up and safe. Event organizers and the local school district are not responsible for your personal property. Every campsite has camp hosts to help you check-in and locate your site. They may also evict anyone violating the festival's rules.
