Transportation

Driving

The festival takes place in Pleasantville, New York at Parkway Field, which is close to the downtown area. If you decide to drive there, you can get in from Southern Westchester, Northern Westchester, Rockland County, or Southern Connecticut. Some bridge crossings may request that larger vehicles stay to the right.

Parking areas

There is no parking available at Parkway Field, but there are a couple of free parking options nearby, often including Pace University. A complimentary round-trip shuttle bus service from this lot to the festival venue will be available to patrons who choose to park there. The shuttle ride will take about six minutes.

Public Transportation

If you'd prefer not to drive to the venue, you can get there using public transportation options like the Bee-Line Bus or the Metro. The Metro-North Harlem Line will take you directly to Pleasantville. It is a short walk from the stop to the festival grounds. There are also plenty of bus routes that will get you close to the site.

Onsite

Onsite camping at the Pleasantville Music Festival and parking overnight are not options. You'll need to book a spot at a campground or RV park nearby.

If you want a campsite-like experience, you'll need to drive a short distance away from the venue. There are a couple of RV parks located within 25 miles of Pleasantville. These come with facilities like full-hookups, big-rig access, and showers. Nearby campgrounds also offer some incredibly scenic views and a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Getting around

Bikes, scooters, ATVs, and other personal motorized vehicles will not be allowed on the festival grounds. Guests can get around Parkway Field on foot. Bikes will need to be parked at a bike-rack where parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The venue is fully wheelchair-accessible.

What to pack

Clothing

The vibe at the Pleasantville Music Festival is relaxed and laid back. You may not find many people dressed in costume or rave attire. Dress in comfortable, lightweight clothing. Typically, campgrounds in the area will permit you to cook on the stove or cooking appliances in your RV. However, open fires may not be allowed.

Restaurants

You'll find several restaurants serving up delicious food close to the venue. Many of the town's eateries can be found in an area called the Old Village. Here you'll be able to enjoy different cuisines like Italian, Indian, Greek, and Japanese. There are also some excellent fine dining options and quaint cafes to stop at in Pleasantville and its surrounding locations.
