Camden Hills Campground

What do you call an RV campground that provides all the comfort and necessities you require within a rustic and peaceful setting? In Knox County, Maine, it's called Camden Hills Campground. From the moment you arrive, you'll have access to WiFi and laundry facilities; you can prepare clean clothes for the coming days while checking in with friends and family back home. You can enjoy the on-site swimming pool, volleyball court, and horseshoe pitch; if you're part of a group, there's a clubhouse with kitchen facilities where you can prepare more substantial meals. Some individual sites have full hookups with 30/50 amp service, picnic tables, and fire rings. There is a dump station available too.

Once you're settled in and ready to start your journey along Maine's east coast, you are only minutes away from either Rockport or Camden where you can take care of any additional needs you may have (fueling up your RV rental, stocking up on food supplies, and more). There is a lookout trail that follows the shoreline or a historic lighthouse near Owls Head that can be visited. You can also drive your Rockport motorhome rental to Mount Battie in Camden Hills State Park which has panoramic vistas of the entire coastline and looks down on Penobscot Bay and out towards Monhegan Island, Vinalhaven Island and Isleboro, where you can mountain bike.
