Crown Point Campground

On the northeastern edge of New York, overlooking Vermont on Lake Champlain, you’ll find old battlefields that have been converted into an RV campground. This historic site is Crown Point Campground. This fascinating destination is just one hour south of Burlington, VT, ten minutes from Ticonderoga, NY, and an hour north of Lake George.

The rich history of the land on which Crown Point Campground was built dates back to the late 1700s when it was a military fort and battleground. Since then, it's been cleaned up and rebuilt to be the campground we know today. A memorial lighthouse commemorates what stood before.

If you’re into any type of watersports, Crown Point Campground is the place to visit. You can bring the whole family to this RV park, or make it a romantic getaway. Whatever your plan, Crown Point has you covered.

Camping in an RV at Crown Point Campground is the best way to enjoy the area. There are over 60 campsites available, none of which have electrical, water, or sewer hookups. Sites can accommodate campers up to 40 feet in length, and your dog is welcome as long as they're well-behaved and on a leash. Make sure to bring your boat or canoe; the campground's boat launch will cast you off to explore Lake Champlain.

With the beach nearby, campers have full access to the water and all the sports that come go along with it. The campground also offers picnic tables and a playground for the kids. Other amenities at Crown Point Campground include a dump station and hot showers.
