Wind Point Park

On the shores of Lake Tawakoni, Wind Point Park is set in a 180-acre property, more than enough space for Lone Oak campers seeking short-term and long-term motorhome camping options. Full-hookup, waterfront sites able to accommodate RVs of any size are on offer, so bring the whole clan and spread out. Each site is metered with 50/30/20 amp service and supplied with a picnic table, a grill, and a firepit. With restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities, you'll be clean and fresh (just like your laundry) at the end of the day.

Away from the lakefront, plenty more sites are available for those who prefer shadier spots. The leafy sites are also individually metered and installed with a picnic table and a fire pit area, so wherever you park your rental RV, you can enjoy meals outdoors in total comfort.

After a hard day's adventure, indulge in a well-earned treat and beverage available for purchase from the on-site convenience store. Whether you're looking for chips or RV camping supplies, propane refilling or bottle exchange, or fishing gear and bait, the convenience store has most of your needs covered.

With such an extensive camping area, expect that recreational opportunities are also aplenty. Explore the grounds by bicycle, break a sweat at the basketball and sand volleyball courts, and sink a line from a 300' fishing pier. Don't forget to bring your furry friends; they'll love the pet areas near the entrance and the basketball court.

When you're looking for campsites near Lake Tawakoni, consider Wind Point Park as your home base to explore the rest of North Texas. The massive Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is just 90 minutes' drive away, and several natural areas are surrounding the park.
