Deer Run Campground

Is it that time of the year yet, when the RV campgrounds are filling up, and everyone is setting off into the sunset to do some fabulous RV camping? Spoiler: that’s all year round. Or at least May through October, if you decide to book an RV in Franklin County. And what with camping at Deer Run Campground being so incredible, why wouldn’t you come to this beautiful part of Virginia.

This RV park is filled to the brim with fun things to do for the whole family, including a swimming pool, fishing, horseshoe pits, and playgrounds. Need to get away from the kids arguing over who won that game in the game room? Go for a little hike on one of the trails, and you’ll have your energy back in a jiffy. If that didn’t help, just send them off to do some crafts, go on a hayride, or plan an outfit for the Halloween party. Or perhaps you would all like a horrifying visit to the Haunted House? RV camping at Deer Run Campground has all that, and more. Much, much more.

Like full hookups, a dump station, laundry facilities, a camp store, and even a maintenance shop. Not at fun as movie nights and covered dish dinners, but oh-so-convenient when your RV rental needs some attention, or the snacks have run out, or you got hot sauce on that last pair of clean shorts. There’s also 30 amp service, so no need to worry about taking care of your motorhome rental at Deer Run Campground.

However, you can’t stay at the grounds your whole RV vacation, or you’ll miss all the great things in the area. Like the tiny town of Ferrum, or the vibrant Floyd, or charming Rocky Mount, all within 30 minutes' drive from your RV rental at Deer Run Campground. Play some golf, do some outdoor recreation, and don’t miss Blue Ridge Parkway, one of the most beautiful drives around.
