Caspar Beach RV Park & Campground

If you're looking for a cultivated RV campground that offers plush settings plus access to raw, untamed nature, look no further than Caspar Beach RV Park & Campground. This family-friendly RV park has it all, from immediate beach access to a store that carries warmer clothing (ocean breezes can sometimes get chilly) and anything else that might have slipped your mind. There's an arcade for the kids on days when the weather isn't cooperating; when it is, they can go mountain biking, boogie boarding, or even fly a kite (a perfect activity for open beaches). Mornings and evenings are perfect times to worship the sun, and the park's beautiful gardens and lush vegetation perfectly complement the effect.

Individual sites have pull-through or back-in access, full or partial hookups, and plenty of shade provided by the trees and undergrowth. Once you're settled in, you can sunbathe on the beach or look for shells and other collectibles. Kayaks and surfboards can be rented from the on-site store. If you're hoping to see the outlying region, Mendocino Village is a short distance away, and there are some historical forts, a botanical garden, and a “skunk train” that sounds promising. Don't forget to take your rental RV for a spin on the local highways at least once; RV vacations are unique, and this is one of the reasons.
