When you want to visit Houston in your rental RV and be right in the heart of the city, then the South Main RV Park could be just the place for you. Located on the southside of the city, just minutes from Houston Zoo and the downtown area with its museums and attractions, this campground might be perfect for your next city RV camping break.
The South Main RV Park probably has just about everything you could need for a city center campground. With over 100 full hook-up sites, many under the shade of trees, there is plenty of room even for the largest rig. Every campsite has water, electric, and sewer connections, plus free WiFi and cable TV, to make it feel like a home from home.
Modern restrooms have hot showers and are air-conditioned for your comfort, plus an air-conditioned laundry facility with seating, and a TV for entertainment while you wait. The campground is a gated community for security and is also pet-friendly, so no need to put your dog into kennels.
Should you want to escape the city for a day, then the resort town of Galveston and the Gulf Coast are within easy reach in your rental RV. Alternatively, the Sam Houston National Forest is a short drive north of the city.
