The Campervan was perfect for our trip to Acadia!! It came with everything we needed. Peter was extremely helpful and was able to answer any and all questions we had. I would highly recommend!

This was our first experience with RV camping. Peter was an outstanding host, very helpful and personable. The van is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy a vacation on the move. We found the van to be comfortable, clean, and a great way to experience an outdoor focused vacation in Maine.

We had a great time driving up to Acadia National Park, up through Canada to Nova Scotia. Evangeline was easy to drive and park in most parking lots; was similar to driving a large SUV which we’ve done often through steep and winding mountain roads. Drove up Cadillac Mountain in Acadia NP with no trouble. As mentioned in previous reviews, Peter really is a great host. He gave us all the information necessary to drive comfortably and confidently. There was also a binder in the van with everything he had shown us. Very helpful in preparing us for our trip. Answered all questions and had great suggestions. The van has everything you need and then some! Bed is super comfortable. Always had more than enough power. Always had cell phone service. The bathroom worked well, was clean, easy to keep clean and never any bad odors. The shower had plenty of warm water. But like most “campervanners” used the outdoor shower or other facilities when available. We stayed in State/Provincial Parks or National Parks. If we make our own campervan, it’ll be a clone of Evangeline!

We had an amazing adventure with Evie and really enjoyed the entire experience. Booking was super simple and Peter was always there to answer any questions we had. The van was clean upon arrival and Peter was very thorough in walking us through the ins and outs of how to operate and care for the van. She was really easy to drive, which was a surprise to us, and she came with everything we needed. We probably got the most use out of the Solo fire pit! We used it nightly and even impressed our family with it! We’ve already planned on purchasing one for our next trip in our personal camper! We didn’t end up using the shower as it was a bit smaller than we anticipated, but having the option to shower outdoors with both hot and cold water made up for that. We adventured to Scarborough, ME and Acadia National Park. We had absolutely no issues getting around with the van. I was really worried with height restrictions in Acadia that maybe we wouldn’t be able to get around easily, but I was wrong. We had no issues!

If I could give this experience more than 5 stars, I would! Everything about our van trip was superb. Peter was extremely helpful, offering to help get us to and from the van, and providing recommendations along the way. He was very thorough in his explanation of the systems and provided a detailed booklet of information if/when we needed a reminder of how things worked. The van itself was super comfortable and had MORE than we knew we needed. My only complaint is that it’s on the East coast and we’re on the west coast, which is way too far to rent it as often as we’d like. Thanks for the great memories Evangeline!

About the van - Fantastic overall., plan to rent again.... easy to drive, lots of visibility, comfortable layout for sleeping, plenty of storage compartments, efficient food prep/cleaning area, convenient bathroom, reliable electrical & ventilation.

Pickup was easy and pleasant. Peter was vey organized and very helpful. Driving the van was also surprisingly easy. We had a wonderful trip in Downeast Maine going all the way to the Canadian border, staying at State Parks and private campgrounds. We slept amazingly well. Bed was super comfortable and we ran the heat every night which was also very nice - not too hot or dry as the fan system is quiet and very efficient. Here's a tip: when you transfer your stuff from your car to the van, just take your stuff, maybe in plastic bags, but leave behind the duffel bags and boxes and totes. The fridge worked great, as did all the other appliances. All in all, a high-end "glamping" experience!

Peter was great. The van is stocked with everything you can need. He provides a very detailed guide book that answers every question you might have while in the road. We had an amazing trip and would rent the van again in a heartbeat.

What an amazing experience. Not only was the RV beautiful, the owner thought of everything and more to make us comfortable. Thank you again for picking us up and returning us to the airport. This was a vacation we will always remember thanks to Peter and Outdoorsy.

Peter’s camper van is amazing! It was everything we wanted and more. Overall this van is a must rent!! Can’t wait to rent again!
We drove to Acadia NP in Maine and took it everywhere. It’s compact enough to drive up steep roads, street park, and maneuver around which is tough to do in larger RVs.
Inside is equipped with everything you need to cook, hangout and sleep. The kitchenette has it all - microwave, mini fridge, portable stove top, outdoor propane stove, silverware, food storage, pots, pans, and more. The sink works off a fresh water tank for easily cleaning hands and dishes. The compost toilet was convenient on the road or exploring at public places. The multi use benches in the back function as seating and table by day - great for eating/playing games and breaks down to a comfy queen sized bed at night - great for those who are tall. The added bug screen on the back is a game changer - park and watch sunrise/sunsets, enjoy the outdoor air and added ventilation, on top of the fan to circulate.

Our trip was a huge success. Peter's rig was full of everything necessary for a successful off grid experience. We found the van comfortable and convenient - and very cozy to hang out in on the one rainy day we experienced. My husband is very tall and he could stand up inside!

We had a great time renting Peter GIlmore's Campervan. The owners were terrific to communicate with before and during the trip and very flexible about pickup and drop off. Everything you might need for a great trip is included in the van. The van is very easy to drive even for a novice.
