Hey there! I bought and built out this rig for the purpose of being a full-time van-lifer (which I was!) for a little over a year in the Bay Area. I'm now living in Oakland and wanting to share the joys of van life with others. I call her The Cozy, and I've taken her to Yosemite, the Sierras, and many beaches. This van is such a cozy place to be in the middle of the forest, or on a windy beach-side cliff, laying in a warm bed and looking at the sunset with the back doors open. I love talking with other adventurous people and getting to know the different activities and communities y'all like to engage in! I personally love climbing, surfing, and running. Looking forward to chatting and hopefully meeting some rad folks and sharing the love of life on the road!

We spent a beautiful trip in California. Despite a few technical issues, Alex was very helpful, available and communicative. The van is very comfy, functional with a lot of space and storages. Thank you Alex!

Alex and Jovanna were great. Because of a move, the pickup was a little crazy but he worked with us and we all made it work! The van was amazing. Took us everywhere we needed to go with 0 trouble. We loved every second with JoVanna and I wanted to keep her!!

We had a great trip but the van had quite a few difficulties that created some worry and stress for the entirety of the trip. We made sure not to let it take away from our experience and the fun we had but when we review the can specifically, it was not up to the standard we paid for. Alex was very responsive for everything and as helpful as possible.The battery died after one night causing us to have to call roadside assistance to charge it back up. On the second night, the engine stalled out while taking a normal left turn. This happened again when driving up a hill in the foothills of Yosemite. Also, the solar didn’t hold its charge from the daylight hours into the night so the perk of having a van and electric didn't exist for us. This started on night two. Lastly, there was a situation with the locks. The van has 4 doors. 3 of the doors had different locks and keys and were all manual. When you locked one the others unlocked which started a frustrating sequence of trying to get them all
locked.

We LOVED our first campervan rental with Alex's van. He was super responsive when we had questions and helped make our experience a wonderful one. The van was in great shape and so many little thoughtful items were available to us. Thanks Alex!

Had a great time travelling for a week in Alex’s Cosy Camper
It was so well set up as our little mobile home with everything we needed
Great bed great storage great cooking set up and good to drive
Got us everywhere we wanted to go up the coast north of San Francisco to the Redwood forests near Klamath across to the amazing Lassen NP and down through the Napa Valley
Couldn’t fault the Van or Alex as a host

It’s not a brand new vehicle but it drives reliably. The living setup in the back is very comfortable. I am 6’ and was able to sleep easily. I’d probably reach out to Alex and Nina if I wanted to take another trip on the 1.
Communication is rapid, courteous, and flexible.

The van was the perfect home base for a weekend in the mountains. It’s well-equipped and has tons of storage for gear.

We absolutely loved our trip in this van!! The hosts were wonderful to work with, we went to Yosemite and it was the perfect size for such a trip. We even got engaged in Yosemite with this van 🥲 thank you Alex and Nina ❤️
