The van was perfect and just what we needed for our trip. It had everything we needed to camp. Richard was great to work with. The van was so nice, we decided we need to buy one!

Richard goes the extra mile in providing a wonderful campervan with all the amenities! All we needed to bring was our food and clothing. The van comes with bedding, pillows, camp chairs, kitchen pan set, headlamps and many, many extras--all at no additional charge--which makes it really convenient for people flying into Seattle. The van is spacious, easy to set up, very maneuverable for getting into campsites and onto ferries, and gets decent mpg. Richard was an excellent host and is service-oriented--he gave good instructions for van use, was available for questions, communicated quickly and wants you to have a great time. We highly recommend renting this van!

Absolutely wonderful experience, from start to finish. It was easy booking with outdoorsy. Richard accepted my booking immediately, and we were in contact from that point on. Richard is kind and easy going. This is my first time renting a camper van. I picked up the van in Seattle, Richard provided information regarding how to get to his location from Sea-Tac, we went over some simple instructions regarding van usage, and I headed out on an adventure to the Olympic Peninsula. Returning the van was just as simple. I highly recommend renting from Richard. This was a trip to remember!!

Richard was a phenomenal host. I had to change the reservation not once, but twice and he was very accommodating. His van was wonderfully stocked, easy to operate, and very clean. My three kids and I took the van for a long weekend and it had everything we needed to make the trip a breeze for cooking, cleaning, and sleeping. I would absolutely recommend Richard and his van to anyone looking to rent.

I am so glad to have found Richard and his van! Even thought I went through some difficulties to book my trip, Richard was really helpful, friendly and understanding. He made sure that every thing was planned for me to have the best time possible during my trip, leaving some essentials (food, supplies...) and giving tips on where and what to do! The van is easy to drive, and after only a few days the size of it won't be an issue and parallel parking would be a piece of cake for you. The life inside the van has been great as well. The pop-up roof allows you to stand to cook, do the dishes (and dance if you want to!) and makes you feel less "trap" than in some other converted van. The bed was really comfortable and quite big! The only negative thing was the noise of the furnace went it would turn on but it allows my to not freeze while sleeping so I'll say it was okay especially when I would woke up with a view right on a river and/or some of the mountains.
Overall, this trip was amazing and I would gladly rent it again if I would travel around Washington !

Richard was so great and super nice! His van is clean and well organized. We had a wonderful trip from Washington to California! He’s super communicative and left us great instructions. If we rent another camper van we will definitely rent from Richard again.

Richard was very thorough and helpful in getting me off on my trip and was attentive to any questions I had during my trip. The van has everythign you need without charging you ridiculous extra fees for things that should come standard in camper vans. Great van and now I want one.

Our host, Richard, offered hospitality and services to us over and beyond anything we could have hoped for! Before our trip he replied quickly to any questions we had and kindly provided a few camping items that we requested. The day of pick-up went exactly as planned. Richard warmly greeted us at his home and thoroughly explained the essential workings of the vehicle, the camper interior and the supplies provided. EVERYTHING we needed for camping was ready for our use. This meant a lot to us as we had arrived in Seattle by plane and could not bring any camping supplies with us. He provided a custom binder filled with pages of detailed photos and descriptions of the workings of the camper van. Richard encouraged us to contact him while we were on the road should there be any need. The van operation was smooth and uneventful. The very comfortable bed had plenty of lovely bedding. This was truly a “glamping” (glamorous camping) experience with very little preparation on our part. We simply loaded the van with our food and clothing and off we went! We heartily recommend Richard and his fantastic van as the consummate host. Do not hesitate to rent Richard’s camper van as he will do anything he can to make your experience a positive one!

It was an amazing trip in Richard's van. There was enough space for 4 adults, it was well equipped - especialy with a non stop working fridge, camping chairs and table, outside propan grill, inside stove and sink. Richard also added cordless fans, some flashlights and dinnerware. The van is really easy to drive and also resonably gas consuming driving 55ish. It was an overall great experience, we had a blast. Richard also explained everything really well and was very helpful.

Richard’s van was perfect for our trip. The van is a smooth ride and has all the amenities you might need. He even threw in some extra beverages & goodies for the ride, so no need to stop on the way. He explained all we needed to know about the van and was a gracious host. We will rent from Richard when we are in town again and definitely recommend his ride to others!

First, let me state that this was one of my best travel experiences and at 66, I have traveled the world. Richard is a superb host. One of his strengths is communication. He texted multiple time prior to pick-up, he spent an hour with us showing us everything about the van inside and out and he also provides a detailed manual about the van for everything from unlocking the gas cap to turning on the propane to numbers to get help.
Richards van organization is exception and we were well stocked including smores ingredients and beverages in the refridge. Richard also did an amazing job refurbishing the van and it is in great shape. He includes sheets, duvet and pillows for the sleeping berths. We (my daughter and I) found the van to be comfortable and easy to drive. We also slept comfortably.
Our trip was both urban (Portland and Vancouver) and rustic (Mt St Helens, Mt Hood and Mt Rainier). The van handled all roads including higher elevations. It was a perfect size for all of the campsites we reserved. I must also state that our vacation coincided with a heat wave with temperatures exceeded 100 degrees. We opted not to use the portable air conditioner that Richard offers and we were able to stay comfortable with the fans that come with the van. I hate being hot so when I say that we were comfortable, it means something. I'm sure it helped that we were camping in the mountains but I still wouldn't have chosen to take the portable a/c unit.
I can't rate the van, the experience or RIchard high enough. He truly lived up to his desire to help us have a wonderful experience. I feel like I made a new friend and I will contact him first should we take another camping trip!
