About Skylar Hamann
Chip and Sky are two certified USCG captains and Fly Fishing guides that work in Katmai National Park in the summer. They have been driving the Alcan Highway the last 6 years and are very familiar with long road trips. Although they are from Maine and Michigan, they spend their winters in sunny Florida where they hand-built "Ramona." They travel with their mixed-breed pup, Django, and look forward to sharing their van with fellow dog lovers!

This was the perfect vehicle for our Alaska trip. The weather was mostly cold and rainy but we were cozy and comfortable, even with lots of wet and muddy gear. #Vanlife gave us so much flexibility. Ramona was easy to drive and park, and we greatly appreciated that it came with all of the essential supplies—and even a few treats!
