Kyle was highly communicative and helpful on providing mountain bike recommendations. There did appear to be a small issue with the radiator and we had to refill the coolant. Otherwise great.

Kyle was very responsive and the van was great. Next time I'm going to bring my own pots and pans since I'm a little particular about what I cook with. The platform bed was more comfortable than those I've found in other vans.

Had an amazing time in Kyle’s van. Took it for a weekend California coast road trip. It had everything we needed and more. So much attention went into this van and it shows. Didn’t need to charge at all, driving and solar kept the battery up with no issues. The instant hot water system for the outdoor shower was so nice, versus having a limited amount of hot water I’ve had in other van rentals. Bed was huge and comfortably fit 2 people (including one 6’ tall). CarPlay and stereo system made directions and tunes easy. Kyle was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Didn’t run into any issues and he was available to answer our questions throughout the trip. I would definitely rent this van again.

Great experience with Kyle and his RV. Excellent communication throughout the trip and quickly available for questions and needs. The van is incredible, comfortable, functional, powerful and goes everywhere. We spent two weeks with it and everything was amazing !

My experience dropped to the lowest point from this trip because I received a bill from the owner after I returned the van 2days said because the battery runs too low and it shortens the battery life. I am very uncomfortable with it because 1. When I returned the rental, I asked the battery thing with Kyle, he said it’s fine. 2.when I picked up the van, the battery is already gone a lot and not in a full stage, and Kyle told me I shouldn’t worry about the battery. I also didn’t know how to charge it if it runs too low.
I valued the owner’s van and use it very carefully. But this after thing made me uncomfortable and I’ll hesitate to rent any more on outdoorsy because it feels like there is no transparency.

I’m sorry you had a bad experience after having to be charged for damaging the batteries.
The day you had drained the van, the data showed that the van charged up to its full capacity. I said that it’s always good when in sun as it charges via solar and that I’ve never managed to come close to draining it. I’m always reachable via this app and text and am more than happy to answer questions on the road when situations like this arise. With all due respect I cannot be liable for negligence when I explained all operating procedures, and can explain what to do when questions arise.

We enjoyed every detail of our experience with Vanny! Super cozy bed, ample storage, drives great on all terrain, and the amazing convenience of an outdoor shower after the beach. Great communication and easy to understand instructions for all van operations. I highly recommend exploring with Vanny!

As first-time van-lifers, my fiancé and I needed a reliable, functional vehicle with an available, helpful owner should anything go wrong…and we had BOTH with Kyle and “Vanny Devito!”

We are from the UK and hired 'Vanny' for 4 weeks in May 23. The van is an excellent conversion and is a rock solid vehicle. You can see the extensive features the van has in the listing but to my mind there are a few worth highlighting: 1) The solar panel/leisure battery system was excellent -no need to hookup at all in 4 weeks! 2) the huge fresh water tank 3) fixed double bed and 4) the 'garage' under the bed that allowed us to transport our borrowed mountain bikes etc. Kyle was also very flexible in terms of pick up times and drop-offs. One area for improvement was the provision of bedding, crockery and cutlery. As we were from overseas we did not have any of this and we had to borrow a lot of stuff from friends to make the van fully functional for us for the 4 weeks.

Had an amazing 2 weeks surfing and road tripping in Vanny. She has everything you need for a comfortable stay (even in bad weather). We loved how spacious Vanny was and how easy for cooking and cleaning. Drives well too. Thanks Kyle and for the great communication. We would recommend to anyone.

We took Vanny up to Yosemite for our first van camping adventure and had an amazing time. Easy to drive, a ton of room, and the heater kept us warm and toasty on some chilly nights. Can’t wait to take Vanny back out on another adventure
