About Andrew Tice

I enjoy exploring the southwest, including visits to AZ, CO, UT, NM, and CA, that can usually be accomplished in 3-5 days. The further off the beaten path the better. I like to disperse camp and avoid RVs, especially those with generators. My approach to a camping trip is less = more while striking a balance of comfort. After using a few different roof top tents and building my own 5X8, I'v e found that the Taxa Cricket meets those criteria best. Hope you enjoy using it as well!

My wife and I had a great time in this Taxa Cricket trailer camping in central Arizona. It was our first camping trip with our nine-month-old baby! It gets chilly at night in the desert during January (lows were in the upper 20s) but the heater kept us all warm and comfortable as we slept. The fit and finish of the trailer is top notch, which shouldn't be a surprise given the reputation of the manufacturer. My guess is if you're considering renting this trailer, you know something about Taxa already. Towing this lightweight trailer behind my vehicle (2006 Toyota Tundra pickup) with the articulating hitch (provided by the host) was easy and pleasant.
