Our family of 5 spent an exciting and enjoyable Labor Day weekend in this RV parked waterside. It was a compact version of home, we had everything to make the experience fun and convenient. The rental process was excellent. Would highly recommend the experience and we will definitely return to D & H in the future.

Overall good experience, but there are few issues which I think they should have taken care of
1. They don't accept return of RV after 4 p.m. Saturday. This is overhead on customers since most of us are returning back Sunday evening or night. They were not flexible from any perspective to accommodate this.
2. RV was not handed deep clean.
3. Crown molding on the top sofa fell on female & child passenger while RV was in motion. When we reported this incident while returning back RV, front desk did not even mention sorry or professionally acknowledged this failure will be taken care in future. I found it rude.
5. Office Staff does not wear masks even during COVID-19 situation. The whole office was operating like there is no COVID.
6. TV cable & sewage connector was missing.

Rental with D&H was great! The staff was helpful, the tour thorough and informative - I had not been in an RV since I was a kid, and with the tour I was able to run everything smoothly, even an unexpected trip to dump the waste tanks. We were concerned about COVID, and D&H accommodated our request to air out the RV after cleaning and before we picked it up. The RV is in great shape (while the touch screen radio head unit is damaged as another reviewer noted, there is a remote provided and D&H plans to replace the head unit soon). We had such a good trip, we're already planning another in a few months with the same RV!

D&H has great customer service! Dan, Lot Manager, was very helpful in answering our questions and allowing us to tour RVs prior to our trip. We had one problem with the refrigerator not cooling our food properly, but D&H took care of that issue when our trip was over. We would rent from D&H in Apex NC again!

We definitely enjoyed our rental from D&H. Give the Covid pandemic, we did not feel comfortable in a hotel or renting a house. With the RV, we knew we could clean and disinfect prior to our trip and feel safe. D&H did a good job providing us with a clean RV, but for our own peace of mind, we still cleaned and disinfected everything again once we got it to our house.
D&H did a good job explaining the features and operation of the RV when we picked it up. The RV was in mostly good condition. The touchscreen radio was not working (the radio worked, but you could not use the touchscreen to change any settings or adjust anything). Since the clock was not set to the correct time, that was frustrating, but I soon learned the difference between it and the actual time and could do a quick mental calculation to know the exact time. Everything else in the RV worked and operated as advertised. The window by the dining room table did rattle excessively. We had enough about mid-way through our 1.5 week rental. I had brought some duct tape and began lining the grooves where the window slid open and close. The seemed to dampen the rattle enough while we were driving and still allowed us to open and close the window. D&H also provided all of the necessary hookups (electric, water hose, and sewer hose). I had to bring my own cable cord to hook up to cable outlets at campgrounds that offered it. I also brought an OTA antenna, which we used to pick up broadcasts in a couple of locations. I would certainly recommend bringing 25 to 30 feet of cable as some of the cable hookups are quite a distance from the input on the RV. There was one campground where I was about 3 feet short and there was no way to position the RV to get close enough to hookup due to a tree being in the way.
D&H also worked with us on the mileage. We knew were would be putting a lot of miles during our trip and we negotiated a good discount upfront. They don't charge a generator fee like a lot of rentals, but we did not end up using the generator much anyway. We also got the Easy Living Package, which allowed us to return the RV without having to worry about dumping the grey and black water tanks prior to returning the RV.
The return process was efficient. They did a quick check of everything, we signed off on the form, and we were done.
Overall, we are pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend renting from D&H. They also sell RVs, so if we were ever to consider buying our own, they would certainly be our first stop.

While the RV drives good, many of the things did not work properly. Example: Radio touch screen don't work so you can't listen to radio or connect to bluetooth. TV does not work properly, it will scan the signal but would not display the channels. Note: TV cable does not come with the RV. Slide out don't work properly. Wasted some time on this. RV Balance control is disabled, don't know why. Support for any question is a hit or miss. Called to speak to owner twice but no call back yet.

We rented this Class C for a long weekend. The rental process was pretty straightforward and I received texts to set up a pick-up time. It took about an hour to finalize the rental on the day of pick up ... signing papers and going over the functions of the RV. I was already familiar with RVs but had never actually used one. But, they covered everything and I was good to go. Had no problem with the vehicle or any of the RV functions. There were a few minor issues that didn't take away from the usability and we brought them to their attention when we returned. Friendly service from beginning to end. Would recommend if you're a first-timer looking to try it out.
