Easy pickup/dropoff experience. The water sensor was finicky so we didn’t know there was water already filled when we went to fill it. But once that was squared away it worked great for us.

Easy to work with and the trailer was in great shape. They said that the fresh water was full but advised me to double check it myself. Good advice that I was glad I took because the fresh water tank was almost empty, but it was easy to fill myself. They charged me a small fee for early pickup but did not charge anything for late drop-off. This flexibility was much appreciated and wasn't offered by a lot of other hosts. Not feeling rushed to end my trip by 11am meant a more relaxing vacation. Would definitely rent from this host again.

Had a great trip renting this RV. Brandon was easy to work with, answered my questions and made pick up and drop off a breeze.

The RV we rented was not available so they provided a different one an hour later said to be a “upgrade”. We rented a very nice 2019 with 2 queen beds. We got a fairly used 2018 with the gray and black tanks more then half full with a full size bed (with stains) and a twin. Most of the outlets did not work and the outdoor speakers did not work. The gas range striker did not work as well. I was offered insurance at one price and charged $20 more than offered. After dropping it off we did not do a walk through as I hoped do to no one being available at the lot. They charged me additionally for waste dump and double for the additional mileage. This is a very large operation and they were very nice to work with. Just seemed like honesty was questionable.

My family camping trip in the desert was nearly ruined by this rental. I reserved a trailer through Outdoorsy 2 weeks prior to the trip and was impressed by the quick response from Brandon Mcneil from Boys toys Rentals. This was my first time renting a trailer from anyone, so I expected to be somewhat lost during the process. I received my confirmation and put my $300 deposit down for the trailer, then didn't hear anything back until the day before the trip. The owner reached out to see if I needed a tow hitch and insurance through their company, because it wasn't offered through Outdoorsy, and they said my home/auto liability policy wouldn't cover it. these were the kind of things I expected to come across as a first time renter. I had my own hitch and told them I would look into my insurance. On the day of my trip, 2 hours prior to picking up the trailer, I received a text message saying the trailer I reserved was having suspension problems, and would I mind if they traded me out with a similar unit. I told them it wouldn't be a problem as long as it was road worthy and cost the same. When my wife and I went to pick up the replacement trailer, we found the awning didn't work so we were traded out again. The unit we ended up with had not been cleaned (still had sausage and biscuits in the oven and mold in the refrigerator) but we overlooked that because we figured they hadn't planned on renting that unit out and we were anxious to leave. We also learned that the rental did not include a generator and that my hitch had too much drop, but I could rent a generator for $175 for the trip and hitch for $35 for the trip. they worked with me and let me use the hitch for free, but I ended up pulling out of there paying an additional $175 for the generator and $20 a day for the insurance (through Venmo, which I found out later is not permitted by Outdoorsy). flash forward to 4 hours into our trip when we blew out a tire on the trailer. The right front tire shredded and punctured the right rear tire sidewall. I put the spare on and had to add air to the other tire every 10 minutes for the next hour to get to our campsite. My wife contacted Brandon Mcneil and told him what happened, and he told us to just get the tire replaced and he would reimburse us ($140). The rest of the trip went well aside from the constant thought of "what else is going to go wrong?" When we finally made it home and returned the trailer, we caught Brandon as he was heading home for the night and he turned around and helped us disconnect the trailer. Brandon was very apologetic at that point and told us not to worry about the tanks not being dumped and the propane not being filled. Again, we were left at ease by his bedside manner. A few days later I received a message through Outdoorsy that he was keeping half of my deposit to replace a tire, this was very disappointing. I attempted to contact him through Text, and through the Outdoorsy site, to file a claim with their insurance (that I paid $20 a day for,) and nobody responded. So I disputed my credit card charges and decided to leave a review so others are not blindsided by this business. My original trip was booked for $514 + a $300 deposit and It cost me over $1000. Please don't let them ruin your trip.
