The owners of the van were amazing with their communication and walk through. I had a minor issue with the sink not working, but overall this van exceeded expectations. Highly recommend.

Canyon was great! Very easy to drive and fully equipped with everything you need. Check-in and check-out was also super easy. Highly recommend!

It was great!

We thoroughly enjoyed our camper van adventure, and we were happy with the vehicle. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bed is very comfortable. The vehicle was reliable and facilitated a fantastic exploration of the Four Corners area.

A few things to know if you go. First, Vanways for some inexplicable reason does not think curtains are necessary on the back windows and sliding door of the van. Both have curtain rods but neither has curtains. So if you are parking in a campground, you may want to be sure you bring your own curtains (!) or other covering. Second, if you are traveling to the high country, such as the Grand Canyon or Four Corners area, be sure you either rent an extra blanket from them or bring your own, no matter what it says on the listing. We went from 94 degrees in Phoenix to below freezing in Flagstaff and were thankful we had thought to ask for the extra blanket, and we still needed another one, which thankfully our traveling companions could lend us. Also, the basic blanket provided by Vanways is a thin cotton matelasse with no topsheet. If this matters to you, bring your own. Lastly, at the time we rented, the documentation of the systems in the van was pretty thin, so when we ran into something unexpected with the electrical system that we could have figured out with just a little literature, we ended up having to call Vanways, but they couldn't answer the question without calling someone else. I was disappointed that when we shared these issues with Vanways, rather than thanking us for the feedback, they told us all the reasons why our issues weren't valid.

All this said, their vehicles are reliable, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Couldn’t rate Shay and this company highly enough. We had the trip of a lifetime spending 3 weeks in AZ, UT, WY, MT, ID, Vancouver, WA, CA and driving the whole PCH. We camped along the beach, atop mountains, in the redwoods, and in dense forests. The van drives like a dream, has all the amenities we could ever think of, and is super cute and cozy. Shay was so responsive and helpful with any questions we had and just a joy to work with. We’d love to rent the van again if we weren’t moving cross country. Rent this van, you won’t regret it! What an incredible experience! Vanways was awesome. They made everything smooth and were very accommodating in anything we needed. The van was also in great condition and took us on an amazing journey. Can't wait to do it again and I can't recommend them enough!

The Aries van was the perfect home base for our road trip from Phoenix to White Sands NM, and back. Having the van made us feel as home no matter where we went and we could be even more flexible on the trip. Overall I would definitely rent again from VanWays as Shay was amazing. Below I broke down some of the attributes of the van and our experience with it!
Driving:
The size of the van was one of the main reasons that we picked it out when looking at rentals. I never felt uncomfortable with the size of it when driving and anything larger could have made me feel that way. Overall, we never had any issues with the van and we did quite a lot of driving in it.
Sleeping:
The mattress in the van is comfortable and I didn’t have any issues sleeping at night. I am 5’11 and the mattress length did require me to angle myself while sleeping.
Amenities:
We didn’t use the shower much as it was cold in the morning but the sites we stayed at had showers. The kitchen setup was perfect for our needs. Storage was great too!

We had the BEST honeymoon with Canyon and Vanways. Communicating was super easy. Everything was exactly as listed and everything worked properly. The bed was very comfortable and the van had everything we needed for a “simple-life” trip. Can’t wait to come back!

Canyon is a great van to explore with. Super comfortable bed, necessary appliances, nice hot water shower. Heads up to the shorties out there: I’m 5ft2in and I couldn’t touch the floor while driving due to the swivel seat. However, I got used to it pretty easily. Overall great van! Also, communication with the owners is really easy and they’re awesome. Definitely recommend!

I had the most incredible time in Saguaro driving to the Grand Canyon. Everything inside of this van was organised perfectly for convenience, the layout was spacious, comfortable and just a pleasure to be in. I especially loved the outdoor shower, that was an adventure in itself. I couldn’t rate van ways anymore highly, the service was amazing (thank you Shay) and our trip couldn’t have been anymore memorable every k of the way! Thanks van ways, until next time(:

Renting with Vanways was amazing. This company was so helpful and kind with the booking, teaching us about the van, and sharing tips for our adventure. They were prompt with responses at all hours, and remained professional throughout our rental. The van itself was perfect and we had the best experience. I would absolutely rent from them again, and can't wait to plan our next adventure with them.

I never give the best rating in any review because that suggests there’s no room for improvement. There’s always room for improvement with anything.
The van was exactly what I had expected it to be. It was clean and comfortable and safe. I didn’t utilize 75% of the vans capabilities. I only used the outdoor shower, the cooler and the bed. I wasn’t camping remotely in it so I didnt have to use a lot of the accessories.
Shay was awesome. She was Very kind and very helpful. I would rent this van from Shay again without hesitation.

I don’t remember if the bed was advertised as a queen size or not, but I felt it was more of a full size. It was a Comfy mattress either way!
