Meet Daisy. She's a 2020 1,378 lb. customized Gnome Home micro trailer. With her lightness and low wind resistant she can be pulled by almost anything with a tow rate capacity. (Check your owners manual.)
Queen bed. Customized 5” mattress measuring: 58.5”X 80.5”. (6'8" length bed!) Converts to a sofa!
Comfort appointments: corner bedside shelves (wallet); handy hooks (keys, flashlight); personal bed lights; general bedroom light. Craftsman cupboards. The multi speed reversible MaxxFan can automatically react to temperature and rain! Air out the bedroom remotely before heading in. USB 12- and 110-volt power outlets; effective cross ventilation. Porch lights.
Daisy’s kitchen? More craftsman cabinetry with counter space galore! A high end cooler in a sliding drawer.
What’s included?
Fresh bedding, pillows, quilt. Towels. Cooler. Two burner stove w 5 lb propane tank on 10' hose for convenient placement anywhere. Pot. Fry pan. Kettle. Camp toaster. Place setting for 2. Kitchen utensils. Kitchen linens. Folding table with two camp chairs.
There are also a 12- and 110-volt outlets in the kitchen. Stay protected under Daisy’s trail gate!
The ahhh-awning! Shade from the hot sun or rain threat. Sit, enjoy the scenery (maybe with a glass of the earth’s bounty). The type of enjoyment you got away for. A roof rack for your kayak, canoe, carrier, roof top tent for the kids!
A 2” receive for your bike rack! Roll out the bikes. Roll on a smiles!
A generously sized secure checker plate storage box. Over sized AGM battery.
Daisy needs the right connections! – A hitch for her 2” tow ball. A round 7-pin electrical connection is perfect. (4-pin connection? We can loan an adapter.)
Daisy is remarkably well built and equipped with essentials and some creature comforts. She loves adventures! Go ahead. Live a Little!
What's includedFreshly laundered complete bedding including pillows and a quilt. Towels. Cooler. Two burner propane stove with 5 pound propane tank. Pot. Fry pan. Kettle. Camp toaster. Kitchen utensils. Kitchen linens. Folding table with two camp chairs.
RecommendationsHaving just come into creation in 2022, Daisy hasn't been many places yet, so every trip will be an adventure of a life time for her! The longer the trip the more fuel savings Daisy offers.
The Canadian Rockies, Banff National Park, Lake Louise, Columbia Ice Field highway, Jasper National Park, Waterton, Drumheller, Dinosaur Provincial Park, Lake Newell, Cypress Hills, the Columbia River Valley, the Okanagan Valley, Going TO The Sun highway ... amazing places to go with Daisy are almost endless!
Other things to noteCorrect functioning connections are necessary. A hitch that matches her 2" tow ball. A 7-pin electrical connection is best to activate Daisy's brakes, but if you have a 4-pin we can loan an adapter.

Meet your host, John

Member since 2020

Susan's interest is photography. John's is bicycling. We combine both when traveling on vacation. Micro trailers save our fuel expense.
Stretching awake to the raising sun in the campsite in the morning, maybe we have a little breakfast. Then John peddles off toward a pre-determined destination down the road. Susan breaks camp and seeks interesting photography at various places along the general route.
Susan generally passes John around mid-day. We confirm tonight's target, and go about doing what we like doing.
Often when John rolls in at the end of an afternoon, Susan is not around, but our micro trailer is. It typically welcomes a thirsty cyclist with a cold beverage in the late afternoon sunshine.
By the time John showers off the day's grime, Susan has usually appeared. Maybe we fire up the BBQ grill or the stove, (maybe both), or head out to a near-by local joint we may have passed that looked interesting, for dinner.
Often there is an evening glass of red, with some quiet music, maybe around a small fire.
Then it's time to cuddle in for good night's sleep.
Because tomorrow, we'll do it all again.
