13’ Extra Light Burro Scamp

Sleeps 4
13 ft. long
1986 Burro Other
The Burro is a full fiberglass, lightweight, easy-to-tow, easy-to-setup, fun little camper. Very similar to a Scamp, but actually a better construction. If you are looking for something that you can pull with just about any vehicle, this is the one. Compact and cozy, this little fiberglass “egg” is great for couples or small families. The front sofa converts to bunk beds (best suited for kids or small adults) and the rear area is a double bed providing sleeping space for four people. This camper strikes the perfect balance between tent camping and large RV travel as it keeps you warm and dry, provides hard shell protection while not being overly large and difficult to maneuver.
There is a propane stove top for cooking and a full tank for your adventures. There is NO propane heater, do not heat with range top. It is not safe to do so.
The trailer hitch requires a 1 and 7/8” ball and the electric plug for the driving lights is a flat 4-prong OR modern round 7 pin. The tongue weight is 100-120 pounds. I’m happy to answer any questions about how your vehicle will enjoy towing this simple camper. The trailer tongue rides about 14” from the ground in order to tow the camper fairly level. Check to make sure your tow package has the proper hitch (flat or drop down etc) to be within 13-15” from the ground. We have towed with everything from a four cylinder CRV to a full size truck and they all work great. If needed, I can provide drop hitches and the proper size tow ball. Just message me! The Burro can rent with pots, pans and dishes for eating and drinking, a kitchen towel and cleaning supplies and other simple necessities to provide you with the best adventure possible. If you’ve read this far and are interested in renting, please message me with details about your towing experience and a basic idea of what kind of trip you would like to take the Burro on (general location). I will answer all messages sent my way and can’t wait to help you get on the road to your next adventure.

Chad is very accommodating and easy to work with. The trailer is exactly what you see in the pictures. Very light and good towing trailer for small SUV’s.
