Review summary
Flexible, helpful, responsive support
Staff assisted with last-minute booking, accommodated late arrivals/after-hours pickup, and provided prompt phone support for issues like fuses, water tanks, and minor repairs. They also offered warmer bedding.
Aged with functional issues
Jessie's motor, electrical, and generator run well, but it shows age. Reported issues: cosmetic damage, non-functional awning, stained interiors, missing screens, broken appliances, leaks, inconsistent slides. Sleeps 10, not all can sit while driving.

5.0Great overall. The staff was awesome in helping us book our last minute, week-long trip to AK. The after hours pickup/drop-off options were extremely helpful and much better than other RV rental companies we considered. I would highly recommend them and will use them again.

5.0Extremely helpful and willing to let us check in and get the RV late since our flight did not come in until 9pm. I would recommend Alaska RV rentals to anyone and I would rent from them again and again.

4.0Jessie has been well loved, and so she shows her age. But the RV was clean when we picked it up. The staff was friendly and accommodated our later arrival. Even though the RV had some cosmetic issues, and did not have a functioning awning, the motor, electrical, and generator all ran well with no issues. It does sleep 10 people, with at least 4 of those people being children, but 10 cannot sit in seats while the RV is being driven. Overall we had a very positive experience and would rent from this outfit again.

5.0We really recommend taking as RV and making our our plans for traveling around Alaska on our holiday. The State historical parks with RV campgrounds worked really well for us, much more economical than the private campgrounds, and we were happy without the hookups. The sites were more wooded and private. We had a wonderful vacation, we loved the RV! We were very happy with our "Jessie". The friendly staff were wonderful, with a very helpful crew both at pick up and when we phoned for assistance. We would recommend some written instructions on the working of the RV as we were novices at this mode of travel..... we managed to blow a fuse by using the toaster and microwave at the same time, but received a prompt response from the office, and they worked with us to get the RV up and running again! They were also happy to give us warmer bedding and check the water tanks for us when we passed back through Anchorage, and the staff were able to fix a few minor problems quickly and efficiently. We were very impressed with the service and Alsaka RV Rentals. We had a fabulous visit to Alaska.

1.0Our reservation experience with Jayme was incredible, we talked several times, and she was a great help in answering our questions. RENTERS BEWARE!! The motorhome was in terrible condition (don't trust the pics on the website). It was beyond its prime. It was dirty, beds, couches, and seats were stained and the smelled of boiled eggs. The RV was to the point where the duct/packing tape wasn't even working anymore. The cabinets, drawers, and refrigerator kept coming open during transit. The couch was so worn down we had to sit on the flat pillows that were provide just to get some cushion to sit/sleep on. Only two of the windows had screens, the door screen was missing, this made it really hot when boondocking, as we had to keep the windows closed so we didn't get munched by the bugs. The kitchen sink didn't drain completely (which probably attributed to the smell). It had a water leak in the storage area (good thing my husband is a master plumber and was able to fix it on the road) The slides worked, sometimes, others we had to manually manipulate them. We paid for extra bedding, but didn't receive it, we had to purchase additional/adequate bedding, because the bedding they did provide was flat, stained, and had holes. There was broken trim and molding. The stove had a broken burner. There wasn't a complete set of pots and pans, we had to buy our own. The microwave plate was not the one that belonged with that microwave so it wouldn't sit in place and spin. The smoke detector would just randomly go off - that was fun in the middle of the night. We called during our trip to see if we could exchange our unit for one in better condition and were told that there were no other available units, they just asked that we send them pictures of everything. We also asked for a refund for the bedding and some sort of reimbursement for the terrible condition of the RV, we were denied both. This is our second RV rental in AK, we won't be renting here again.
