2012 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
"Silvery" is a 2012 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van. Featuring a custom bed, seating for five, and a place for your family dog!
Silvery is the manifestation of our own family's quest for a fun, convenient way to camp and travel. We didn't need a full conversion, but we had clearly out-grown a standard vehicle. To that end, it is perfectly suited for road-trips and camping trips to stationary locations.
Plan to sleep in Silvery, and conduct your cooking and hang-out time outside. A large bed provides a comfortable sleep (and is big enough to accommodate a night-time snuggling kid or dog!). An additional foam makes for another crash-spot on the floor.
Note: This is not a "self-sufficient" vehicle, so all power must be pulled from your hook-up. There is no heating or cooling in the van if the engine is not on.

Moon Shade awning
Freshly laundered cover on mattress
Four collapsible camp chairs
REI Tent: Kingdom (sleeps 4 comfortably on ground, or 2 in cots and one or two on the ground)
Two REI cots
Two small sleeping pads (accordion folding, reflective)
Camp Kitchen with sink and drain bucket
Chuck Box including Coleman stove and accessories, flatware and silverware, as well as cooking utensils
Cooler
Water Jug
YOU PROVIDE: Sleeping bags, pillows, propane tanks for Coleman, your own food and water

This a no-frills, fun-van. Enjoy taking the kids and the dog on a road trip to visit the grandparents two states away, take a quick weekend getaway to a campground, or just enjoy a roomy drive to the country side. Ditch the cramped, wedged travel and enjoy the spaciousness!

This is a DIESEL van. Plan ahead and make sure you can identify the diesel pump at fuel stations. Use "Gas Buddy" to find diesel at stations on your trip as not all stations carry diesel.
PUMPING GAS OR ANY OTHER FUEL INTO THIS VAN IS A MAJOR PROBLEM. Please be extra cautious.
Also, this is a tall vehicle. It will NOT FIT in parking garages or drive-thrus. It is easy to drive and park, but please have experience driving larger vehicles. This is our special van and we want to make sure that you have a safe and happy journey, and that she comes home unscathed.
