Rough it conveniently, safely... in comfort.
In these steep and curvy Rocky Mountains, you need to know you can get where YOU want to go, without worrying about a big rig, where and how to park it, and IF it can climb and maneuver safely.
We customized this setup with all that in mind. The GMC 4x4 is just the right size so even those who are new to RV adventure can drive and park anywhere they want, from the grocery store parking lot to the high San Juan peaks...
The camper from the outside is older and looks low-key, with a few dents from roughing it over the years. But when you open the door -- it's amazing, bright and new. It was remodeled last year from top to bottom with new floors and finishes: Classy grey leather upholstery throughout, a comfy clean kitchen with stove, oven, large fridge and cooking gear for a gourmet meal. The bathroom includes a shower, and there is an outdoor one too. The queen-size bed has a fresh new memory-foam topper and pillows, with windows all around so you can look into the treetops and stars.
Perfect for a couple who wants to explore.
If there are more guests in your party, ask about another rig we are currently renovating for the summer. You can park two side-by-side and create a canopy bunk area in between.
The Four Corners (AZ, UT, CO, NM) has many free BLM and National Forest areas that allow free camping for up to two weeks. Arches, Mesa Verde, high peaks and fast rivers. Adventures abound aplenty, nearby and a bit further. The Grand Canyon is five hours away through spectacular scenery and we'll give you tips about how to park nearby for free, where there are very few other campers even in high season. (Hubby has logged 250+ hiking miles rim to rim and exploring; he really knows his way around.)
We can meet you at the airport or offer free parking on our acreage just outside the authentic western town of Durango Co.
