This well equipped trailer features modern amenities with a retro style. This rental includes an exclusive campsite situated in southwest Colorado on the edge of the Weminuche Wilderness— the largest designated wilderness in Colorado! Enjoy this wooded retreat minutes from multiple trailheads and recreation opportunities including Vallecito Reservoir. Close to Durango and Pagosa Springs. You can day trip to Silverton and Mesa Verde and not have to worry about packing up the RV and hauling it around.The trailer is equipped with full kitchen, bathroom and queen size bed with upgraded mattress. The trailer is spacious making all the features easily accessible The dinette folds down to provide an extra sleeping area for one. We also provide an outside grill for the ultimate wilderness cookout.Located just minutes from Vallecito Resevoir. Included with the rental is a pass to go to the reservoir (typically $8 per day).All linens, towels, kitchen and dining utensils are provided. Request Procedure: In order to rent this vehicle and site, please submit a request for delivery to 14772 Co Rd 501, Bayfield, CO 81122. Once the request is approved, I will send a revision and provide you with the accurate address of the land. There is no delivery fee as the vehicle is stationary, however this must be done for proper insurance. Incredible 4x4, Quad, and Side-by-side trails are located just minutes from the property. Other things to noteThis is a stationary trailer / base camp on my property in a quiet area. Renter will NOT be driving/taking trailer, but enjoying the area. Owner lives on the same property close to where the trailer is parked. Please park in designated spots not blocking driveway. Please respect neighbors and private property. This is not a place to party and the 1-2 renters may not bring anyone else to the property or RV. Due to predatory wildlife and open range livestock no pets or animals permitted.

Can I bring my pets?

A.

I love pets! But unfortunately at this time I cannot allow pets at the Oriole due to the amount of wildlife and grazing, roaming livestock that comes through the property.

Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?

A.

It's pretty easy and straightforward but there's a couple tricks and tips so we'll meet and go over those. I'll also provide you with an operating manual to reference.

Is there a grocery or restaurants close by?

A.

I would do the bulk of your shopping before you arrive for your stay. There are two small grocery stores five minutes from the Oriole that have the basics and occasionally some great finds. Both have liquor stores. There are also two restaurants to eat at or take out. Occasionally there might be some live music or other events to enjoy.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

Great question! You don't have to do any of the work. Just show up! The Oriole Retro RV is a *stationary only* rental on my private property and will not be picked up or dropped off. However, if you need to reschedule our meeting time, I will do my best to be flexible and accommodate you.
