After our rental of Dan’s RV in October of 2023, I wanted to leave a little review of our experience. My wife, eight year-old granddaughter and miniature Dachshund were needing a unit for attending a multi-day Girl Scout camp-out. It was the first time using an RV rental site via Outdoorsy. It is pretty easy using the rental site and its Web layout was conducive to get the technicals about the RV, e.g., age, size, layout, kitchen inclusions, and other pertinent information about the owner, cost, etc. So, it is pretty straightforward to select a desirable unit. The differentiator here between potential RV’s is the process to rent, cooperation of the owner and executions of the rental itself, i.e., delivery, pick-up and release of the applicable deposit.
Even though I own a truck, I elected to have the convenience of having the unit delivered and set-up by Dan. He gave me his cell number so that the coordination of the delivery was convenient. I was there during set-up where Dan comprehensively demonstrated the set-up process, and reviewed practical aspects of the unit’s operation. The RV was clean and well stocked in regard to kitchen related equipment, utensils, pots & pans, etc. Linens and towels were provided. We enjoyed the unit’s awning and the provided ground cover under it, which greatly reduced the tracking of dirt and leaves back into the unit.
During the entire rental process, Dan was very friendly, helpful and was flexible in the practical aspects of the preparation for the rental (answering all questions), delivery of the RV, pick-up of the unit and release of the deposit.
We will begin our rental list with Dan and his RV which helped to provide us with a very pleasant and memorable experience with our granddaughter. Thanks Dan.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

I am very flexible with pickup and drop off. I can deliver to you or to a nearby campground (for a fee).
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
I will review this all with you upon pickup. A few points:
- Full hookups make your camping easier
- This RV has large storage tanks to minimize trips to dump station
- This RV uses only 30 AMP hook ups, which most campground have
- In case you want to camp somewhere that has no electric hook-up, I can provide (for an additional fee) a generator for your use while camping.
