Blacktail Creek Campground

This is a small campground, with 8 wide open spaced campsites located right offHWY 134 in between the towns of Kremmling and Yampa, CO. This camping area can be seen from the highway and offers easy access on and off the highway for those traveling and passing through.Facilities include potable water from June until September (based on freezing weather) and one vault toilet. Each site has one fire grate and one picnic table. PLEASE NOTE: This campground has been affected by the Mountain Pine Beetle but many young Aspen trees remain. Since this campground sits very low along the highway, the views you can expect are mostly these young trees.
