Yes, my van is actually located in Durango, not New Mexico :) Airport drop-offs available! Please Note: Squatchy is winterized after December 1st. Any rentals between December 1 and March 1 may not have water. Please inquire about water before booking between these dates.Squatchy is a 2021 Dodge Ram Promaster High Roof cargo van that was professionally converted into an RV in July 2021. It's perfect for boondocking/dry camping as it comes equipped with solar and a 21-gallon water tank. Never pay for a campsite again!Squatchy has a raised platform bed with ample storage space underneath as well as a closet, cupboard, and above-bed and above-bench cabinets. It also features a large wood block countertop for cooking while enjoying the views and an inset gold stainless steel sink for washing dishes afterwards. Bench seating and a passenger swivel seat allow for easy dining. Please note: The bed inside the van is a Queen in width but not length. If you are tall or traveling as a couple, you may need to sleep diagonally. I am 5'10.'' It took some getting used to at first, but I ended up living in the van for 5 months.Other specs:

RecommendationsVanlife allows you to see and experience SO MUCH without having to spend a lot of $ or time planning. I've stayed in some of the most gorgeous places for free. My favorite app for finding parking/camping spots is iOverlander. Whether you want to travel around Southwest Colorado (Durango, Ouray, Telluride, etc.), explore Southern Utah (Moab is only 3 hrs away!), or take on the whole Western US, Squatchy will make a perfect home!Other things to notePlease no smoking in the van :)

So great traveling between Durango to Telluride in Squatchy. Sheri was a great host. Pickup was easy. She went over everything and was there to answer any questions we had. She was flexible and super easy to deal with. Squatchy handled the mountain roads beautifully and was our home away from home. It was a great introduction to van camping for us.

Hello! Before settling down in beautiful Durango, Colorado in December 2021, I traveled in Squatchy for 6 months. My favorite places that I traveled to were Jackson Hole, WY/Grand Teton, Glacier National Park, Bellingham, WA, Bend, OR, and Asheville, NC. I love the outdoors and am well-versed in life on the road. I still like to take road trips whenever the mood arises to hiking, festival-ing or just sightseeing!
