Vintage cool, large bedroom with two single beds, couch folds out to sleep two,large kitchen, walk in tub with shower, tons of storage space,new hot water heater,and furnace. Dorm size fridge/with freezer lots of Windows for fresh mountain air.located on large Trac of private owned land. Fast running wide creek, steps away from the front door. New gas grill and picnic table close by. Nice big shade trees, and small meadow only a few steps away. 10x10x6 chain link dog kennel with large doghouse for your family pet to stay in. Pets allowed but must be on a leash at all times. And you are responsible for cleaning up after them in a sanitary way. Trashcan on site, for your use. 20 min drive into the beautiful town of Franklin, NC. Local Ruby and gem mining for the whole family is apx 15 min drive. The beautiful little Tennessee River flows only a few miles from the campsite. A small private airport 5 miles away. This area is loaded with great hiking trails, waterfalls, and horseback riding. One hour away from the Cherokee reservation, for a day of fun, fishing,and for the adults in your party, Harrah's Caniso offers concerts, fine dining, a new bowling alley and skating rink, as well as a state of the art gaming floor with 1,000's of slot machines, card games ,poker tournaments, and much much more. You can goon rafting trips on two different rivers, check out the lovely shops in downtown Cherokee, visit Clingmans Dome, or take a day trip over into Gatlinburg TN, pigeon forge, Dollywood . The historic Biltmore estate is in nearby Asheville NC. Asheville also is a beautiful city and they have many festivals all year round. You can pick your own fresh apples over in Hendersonville, visit Lake Lure where the movie dirty dancing was filmed. Or from your campsite in Franklin, you can travel one hour south, eat at the world famous Dillard House, and even go rafting on the wild and scenic Chattooga River, which was made famous in the early 1970's when Burt Reynolds, Ned Beatty, and friends filmed the cult classic movie " Deliverance" You will find the people are friendly, and with so many things to d, we know that you will be back again soon to explore more of the trip state area of NC, SC and GA.
