1963 Vintage Trailers Zipper
"Jessamine" is a 1963 Zipper Camper that is very similar to the more well known Shasta Airflyte. She has been completely remodeled, inside and out. Fresh paint and distinct retro lines will make her the talk of the campground, but it doesn't end there. The rockwool insulated interior will keep things quiet and comfortable. Jessamine is also equipped with an electric heater and air conditioner, but if it's nice outside, just wind open her louvre windows (with screens) for excellent air flow (and no bugs)! The interior has been completely remodeled from floor to ceiling, with an emphasis on reclaimed wood and light, and bright bohemian vibe.Jessamine can sleep 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children, with a permanent double bed and a table area that converts to a twin. (Jessamine easily accommodates our family of 4 comfortably!) She has been laid out thoughtfully with a balance of functionality and openness in mind.Jessamine weighs less than 2,000 pounds, so she can easily be pulled by most vehicles, including most vans, trucks, and mid-to-full size SUVs. (However, we recommend checking your vehicles tow rating before hitching her up.) If you can't, or simply would rather not pull her, just let us know and we can set her up for you.We hope you enjoy our little piece of South Carolina history as much as we do!Cheers,Emily and ZachWhat's includedJessamine includes the following equipment:
- 3 Cubic Foot Mini Fridge
- Microwave
- Coleman Standup Grill
- Bed linens
- Towels, Dishtowels, and Other Linens
- 4 Full Place Settings
- Pots, Pans, Cutting Boards
- Kitchen Utensils and Other Necessities
- Electric Tea Kettle
- Pour Over Coffee Maker
- 4-Seater Dinette
- Parachute Hammock
- 2 Camping Chairs
- Outdoor Rug
- All Necessary Hoses and Cables
- First Aid Kit
- 2 Lanterns and 2 Headlamps
- Super Cool S'more SticksRecommendationsState Parks around the Upstate:
- Paris Mountain has a cute little campground
- Tablerock has two options for campgrounds
- Devils Fork is right on Lake JocasseeOther things to noteWe recommend a 2" receiver or greater and the camper has a 2" ball hitch. Because of the age of the camper, the hitch needs to ride low or the bumper may drag in spots, so a drop hitch is required for most trucks and SUVs. We have a drop hitch (6") that can be used with the camper at no additional fee. Generally speaking a max height at the hitch of about 16-18" is needed and 12-14" is optimal. No Smoking and No Pets please.

This camper is great. It's very nicely renovated, clean and comfortable. It towed well behind our honda pilot. It's well equipped for a small camper with chairs and a grill in addition to the fridge, sink, microwave and other things but we used it as a short term guest house rather than at a campground so we didn't use everything in there. Zack and Emily were very helpful and responded quickly to all of my questions. Very highly recommended!

This is the cutest little camper in the world!! It was the talk of the (camper 😄) town at my site
Super clean, with a chic & functional interior. Microwave, small fridge, plates, cups, cutlery, et cetera… The mattress is very comfortable and the lighting is great. Some unexpected extras: lanterns, sound machine, and local honey as a welcome gift!!

Had a great trip with Zach and Emily's camper. Clean, comfortable, towed easily with a VW Tiguan. Zach was very helpful at check-out.
