Pyramid Campground

You’re in the search for an RV in Perry County and haven’t quite decided where to go yet, and you want to get away from the daily grind and just sit back and relax? If stress is the problem, then Pyramid Campground camping is the solution. Here you’ll be far away from all the musts and obligations you normally have to deal with, and you can finally just enjoy some nature without feeling like there’s someplace you need to be and something you need to do - just as it should be.

When RV camping at Pyramid Campground, you’ll be in the heart of Pyramid State Recreation Area, and all sorts of recreation opportunities will literally be on your doorstep. There are trails, for example, that are excellent for both hiking and mountain biking, and you can spend the whole vacation fishing if you feel like it. When you get tired of eating the catch at the picnic table, you can go hunting for your dinner as well. Make the most of the grills in this RV park, and go for a little boat ride on the lake after you’ve had your food. Should you need water, it can be found near the site office.

After having spent so much time at your campsite at Pyramid Campground, it might be time to get a bit busy again. The charming and vibrant city of Pinckneyville is just around the corner, and you can also find Denmark near the park, and the small city of Sparta is also nearby. So is Steeleville and Du Quoin, both places with fun attractions to offer. You’ll also be surrounded by the famous cornfields of the Midwest, and have lots of places to choose from for your outdoor recreation.
