Elk City Campground

There’s nothing more relaxing than spending a couple of days (or weeks) amid nature where nothing and no one will call for your attention, and it’s equally great to have the freedom to drive around as you please - what does this describe? You guessed it: an RV vacation, of course. Book an RV in Montgomery County and camp at Elk City Campground so that you can experience the beautiful hiking trails, stunning sunsets, and fun activities at this RV park, including basketball, fishing (there’s a special pond for kids), and frisbee golf. If you get lucky, you can get some firewood to grill your catch and then eat it in the picnic area.

RV camping at Elk City Campground is a breeze no matter the size of your motorhome rental seeing as you can get pull-through sites that are suitable for big rigs. The RV sites also have full hookups, and there are restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities that you can use as you please. You’ll also find a dump station, and there’s WiFi - perfect if you want to stay in touch with your loved ones back home.

One of the other perks of Elk City Campground camping is all the fun you can have in the surrounding area. Visit nearby Independence, a small city with a big heart, or head to larger Wichita, packed to the brim with culture and entertainment. If you want to go even bigger, you can cross the state line and head to Oklahoma City, or perhaps visit Tulsa on the way. You’ll also find stunning nature, parks, and forests, and lots of outdoor recreation opportunities as well as historical sites when getting an RV rental in Independence, Kansas.
