The many fingers and waterways that branch off this body of water are perfect to be explored by a paddle-driven boat.Har-Ber Village is located in Grove, which is situated on the eastern side of the lake. Here visitors can tour a town that was built to resemble what a pioneer community would have looked like in the late 1800s and early 1900s when this area was first settled. This portion of the site is only open during the warmer months. However, there is also a nature trail on-site that can be enjoyed throughout the year.

It is known as one of the world's longest multiple arch dams. It was built on the Neosho River and forms the Grand Lake. The museum is housed in an old Coca-Cola bottling plant, and the history of the local area is featured here. Other nearby, historical sites are discussed, including a Civil War battlefield and the famous Route 66. There is also a map available of historic homes in the local area.Speaking of Route 66, portions of this acclaimed road, also called the Mother Road, run near the campground. This historical route was one of the main ways to travel to and through the Western US before interstates became widespread. Start by determining how many people are planning to travel with you. Going on a solo-journey? Choose a camper van or a teardrop trailer. Bringing the whole family along for the ride? Consider a spacious Class A or five-wheel.

Yes. Class A’s, Class B’s, and Class C’s and five-Wheels typically have bathrooms. How does check-in work?


Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
